Remote Garage Laser Door Opener
Brand new never used.
This device is a laser transponder that can trigger a laser receiver to remotely operate garage door, light etc. Receiver not included with this sale.
It has been known that this type of device can interfere with Police LIDAR equipment, hence the reason for sale.
Known as a Target LaserTrack LT400
£80 + P&P @ £5
If you are local, you are welcome to collect. All items are in Woolacombe, North Devon.
Payment via Bank Transfer preferred, but will accept PayPal if buyer pays fees.

Its a grey area really.
It just so happens that these things work on the same wavelength as some Police speed detection equipment, not RADAR but LIDAR. And some of these devices are more powerful than the LIDAR guns that the Police use, therefore the beams from devices such as this can overpower and effectively throw an error code on the LIDAR gun, preventing a speed reading from being taken.
UK forces typically don't use RADAR for mobile speed detection and primarily use LIDAR.
But saying that, fixed speed cameras such as GATSO and other Traffic Light based systems do use RADAR. And none of the devices mentioned here will interfere with those.
There are RADAR jamming devices available however. But they are pretty pricey and highly illegal in this country. The military are not keen on the general public using such technology!
