If only you were closer I would have these in a heartbeat! You definitely not looking to post? If not could I get them collected via dpd?

If so is it a straight swop over or do you have to do something to the existing wiring
Thanks

I have a set in my UK STI and its not quite a straight swap over as you need to supply power to the ballasts, I ended up making a custom loom with two relays and everything works fine.

Dam good price for these though, I paid £350 last week for a second set as one of mine has gone cloudy.

Easily worth £350-£400, Good UK non HID ones fetch £200.

Seen a few sets on eBay for more than £450.

Bargain for the buyer.

I have tried that

The drivers side had a minor leak and unit filled with condensation, removed and cleaned and dried the unit, polished the lens inside and out (Which didn't make much difference if any) put back together, leak stopped and unit remained dry and light worked but the lens has just got worse.

Swapped them over yesterday evening, so much better now.

To be perfectly honest I hadn't considered it due to the condition of the lenses, was thinking of keeping for spares as the replacement ballasts alone are about £200 to replace and I know my luck the minute I sell something would fail

I guess it all come down to what they might be worth

Great results from your photos What did you use ??

I think some of the problem with mine is water / condensation got into the unit and some of the damage to the lens in on the inside.

Even before the drivers side got too bad I brought the Mequires headlight restorer kit and spent a while using that with minimum improvement, after that it jut got worse. I then split the unit and tried inside and out and resealed which stopped the condensation completely but didn't improve the lens hence buying new ones.
