Few bits from a defi set that I purchased a little while ago but wasn't really given all the bits to allow it to work together:

All bits were sold to me as working and from what i've tested without fitting it to my car they seem to have no problems.

Info on these items is to the best of my knowledge, please PM me if i need to correct any of the information rather than clog up the thread.

Defi Control Unit II: £50
May have wobbly Turbo input connection, comes with DC Source cable only.

Defi BF Boost gauge- Red Illumination: SOLD
Tested working with above Control unit, boost sender supplied, no Meter cable.

Gauges don't look genuine

 

It appears as though the extra boost and oil pressure gauge I had may not be genuine. Having reviewed the images on the Defi site the first boost gauge I have sold with sender do appear to be real as well as the control unit itself.

I have removed the additional gauges from the OP, have informed the buyer of the pressure gauge/sender that I am happy to refund the purchase if there are any problems but will keep the control unit itself for sale.

Guess the fake gauges are destined for the bin unless anyone wants to buy them still, quite a disappointment considering i purchased the whole set from a scoobynet member before

 

Sorry it looks like you've been mis led in the past, when paying for top quality gauges I'll always do my homework. One you don't want to get ripped off and 2 you're buying quality for a reason to look after the health of your engine, you just don't know how accurate and for how long fakes will be.

 

Just to confirm I have been told the same thing by the seller and you can't say fairer than that. When it turns up I'll compare it to the genuine white one I have. Hopefully it will be genuine and the seller can at least get some money back for what he bought

 

just to add to this i checked the gauge against the white one i had and its seems genuine and it also communicates with the controller so im a happy man
