Default AP front brakes 4 pot cp5200

AP front brake kit with original AP mounting brackets.

We're being used as 308mm kit (can use bigger rotors with another spacer kit)

The rotors and pads will need replacing so you're buying the 4 pot calipers, brackets and bells (with all bolts)

£520 inc postage.

They are more likely 304mm discs , we can supply you these for £275 a pair , curved grooved or our new G hook , we can also make you a 330mm disc to fit the AP 304mm bells , and supply spacers to space the caliper off the bracket to allow the larger disc to fit , this way you can go larger if running 17" wheels without needing to change bells

Sorry, may well be 304mm discs.

The brakes were pretty awesome even being 'only' 304mm. For me, I like the idea of them not being any bigger and heavier on a classic. But if you want to go for the bigger bling, the option is there obviously.

The current discs are needing replacement. Not sure if they can be skimmed, but to be honest is it worth it!

Just as an aside I may well break the kit up and sell separately.

I do understand people contacting me saying I need to spend £275 on rotors and £95 on pads but does that devalue the rest of the parts I have separately?

Yes you can buy kits that some places make up with their own brackets and bells for £1300 or so, but the genuine AP kit with the steel AP brackets and bells in 304mm is £1933+vat at demon tweeks.

I actually don't think it's a bad price when you consider that fact?

Can you please measure the weight of a caliper? Just wondering if it worth replacing my heavy 4pots.
Cheers

The simlar calipers with 330 discs and pads sell for around £800-£1k second hand so it's a fair price IMO as you can choose your own pad and disc combo
