Purchased from another snet member not long ago but for sale again due to power goals changing

Perhaps being naïve, but how would you go about removing that so it were a normal fitment to attach a silicone hose to? Assuming that aside from that it's suitable for road use.

Two welds need grinding down , et viola
. Although it was used in competition I see no reason why it would not be suitable for a road car ?
