Default For sale - Whiteline BSR36XXZ - Ideally collection Milton Keynes

Hi all,

I have just replaced my Heavy duty BSR36XXZ with a BSR36XZ. (Mrs moaned the XXZ was too hard) As such the BSR36XXZ is now up for sale...
The bar body is 27mm and slims down to 24mm at mounting points as to make it usable with the stock chassis mounts.
I had this bar on my hawkeye WRX wagon and it is a serious improvement over the stock bar..

Bar is about a year old and done around 5000 miles. Some paint has flaked off as is usual with Whiteline bars and has a little surface rust. This does not change how the bar works. (could respray it if it bothered you)
Also Comes with a set of brand new bushes still sealed ready for use.

I would like to get around £100 as cost £180 new. Whiteline no longer make them so these could well be rare in the future.

http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_...umber=BSR36XXZ

From what I can find the bar will fit the following cars, but please check to be sure.
2004 SUBARU IMPREZA OUTBACK, RS, TS, WRX, WRX STI
2005 SUBARU IMPREZA OUTBACK SPORT, RS, WRX, WRX STI
2006 SUBARU IMPREZA 2.5I, OUTBACK SPORT, WRX, WRX LIMITED, WRX STI, WRX TR
2007 SUBARU IMPREZA 2.5I, OUTBACK SPORT, WRX, WRX LIMITED, WRX STI, WRX STI LIMITED, WRX TR.

Ideally I would rather collection due to size and weight but I would be willing to travel or meet somewhere if not too far.
I am going to Isle of Man over August bank holiday weekend so happy to meet on the way if that is of any use to anyone?

Many thanks,

Monday BUMP

I will be travelling to Isle of Man on ferry from Liverpool Thursday evening and coming back Monday (Bank Holiday) so would be willing to meet on way there or back if that is of any use to anyone?
Also open to sensible offers as taking up space now.

Cheers,

Hi mate,

How stiff did this make the car feel. Am interested but car us used mostly as a daily car and don't want to stiffen the car too much that it ends up far too uncomfortable....

And from the link it states this is more for race use which wouldn't suit what I need.

Thanks!

Hiya, In all honesty now with the 24mm bar it oddly feels too soft to me.. The grip level with the 27mm bar was noticeably better.
I was running this bar on Prodrive springs with Prodrive GT1 18 inch wheels so for comfort probably about as bad as it gets and I didn't mind it.

If you are running stock springs and ride height with 17 inch wheels I would think the ride would probably be nicer than mine ever was.
I would also look at changing the front bar for something thicker if still stock. this rear bar will make the front feel rather soft if stock I am sure.

The way Whiteline work there bars is middle hole will be the bars spec. the inner +1mm and the outer -1mm. So in effect I ran this bar at 26mm really.

I must confess I am partly tempted to put it back on but I am too busy these days to have the time to do it.

thanks,
