Default 400/500 BHP V3 STI RA

Here I have for sale is a 1996 v3 sti type ra

The car was imported by Calder Motor Company back in 2009, I am the second uk owner.
Its had extensive work and modifications to bring it to where it is today
I have folders full of receipts and of work carried out, even some Japanese history
Being the RA its the ideal impreza for this type of build
Its currently running 400 / 500 bhp with switchable maps and R/R print outs

2008 sti block rebuilt by Finch motorsport
Block Pegged
Manley H-Beam con rods with arp bolts
Wiseco Pistons
ACL main and bigend bearings
Cosworth baffle sump
11mm RCM oil pump
The heads have been ported and polished and chamber matched to suit the 2.5 / 99mm bore
ARP head studs
Cosworth head gaskets
Sti cams
Cosworth timing belt

Syvecs ecu with cal switch it has 8 maps and antilag (mapped by Duncan Graham)
3bar map sensor, 3port boost solenoid
Fuel lab pressure regulator with parallel setup completed in goodridge hose and AN6 air craft fittings
Uprated fuel rails
Lateral Performance flow matched 850cc side fed injectors
Walbro 255 pump
APS cold air induction kit with new K&N filter
Mocal oil catch can

42mm alloy radiator
Silicone hoses (coolant & ancillary's)
New age V8 sti intercooler
Garrett MD321t turbo
RCM headers and venture up pipe
3inch down pipe onto Blitz nur spec r system with bung
HKS twin plate clutch

Cusco coilovers
18x7.5 new revolution millenniums
4 new Toyo Proxes TR1
Sti v8 Brembo front calipers new drilled and groved discs

Mint sti interior with 4 rare lamco gauges
Deep Dish Momo steering wheel
KS-3 Knock Detection monitor
Blitz turbo timer
Pioneer MP3 USB sterio

V6 front bumper grill
Morette twin headlights
V8 bonnet vent
Crystal side lights and indicators
V6 rear spoiler
4mm MSA approved rally flaps

Over all this is a very well specked car and well looked after, the body is in clean straight condition as is the under side, getting sought after in this condition and these car are only going to go up in value. Pictures of the build and underside are available. Just fully serviced and passed its mot last week and now got 6months tax
offers in the region of £10,000

Looks really nice this, What turbo is it running for that power?

Very nice looking car that, it's like a classic with a modern twist which I like. I'm not a fan of morretes but it all just looks right. Reminds me a little of Neil's classic from back in 2010-11

I assume the max power is 400bhp/500ftlb? I kind of read it as 400-500bhp with switchable maps, then viewed the pic of the TMIC. But then the "T" can make 500bhp right?

Is it still on the 5 speed close ratio box?

Good luck with this, It's a nice example.

still on the 5 speed and goin well.. it made 406.8 hp on the 95RON+NF octane booster map and 498.2 on race fuel map with the topmount

It made 500 ponies on the old 752 box !!!! And didn't **** itself !!!!!
Thats an achievement in itself chap :-)

Light weight car = less load on drive train. Ive driven this car and it's quick,

Apparently so but that was V5 and V6's, TY54.The TY52 box's haven't!

Not the early ones. I ran over 400 through a later 5 speed for a while.

I know Scott.....since handing my boy over to his race team I'm re=living my earlier years Lol....

2 x P1's & a lovely RA hopefully.... shouldve had a RWD Cossie engined 820kg thingy type car for Oulton but there's been a slight problem with its fuel pressure so couldn't collect as planned tonight.... we'll see....

Its certainly odd.
The ebay seller also has a p1 for sale so maybe mellow did buy it and now wants out for some reason.
