SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI TYPE UK PPP Very Low Miles 55 (2005)
SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI TYPE UK PPP Very Low Miles 55 (2005) -£8,500- Open to Genuine Offers
Hey up folks!
A very reluctant sale of my beloved and cherished Subaru Impreza STI UK with PPP 2005 (55) reg. This being one of the last wide track models and also benefits from the DCCD (Drivers Center Controlled Differential).
Never thought this day would come where i will need to write about her going up for sale. Due to Family commitments and a purchase of a new house she has to go.
The car has been enthusiastically owned by me a mature driver for the last 6 years from July 2007 when she was still under warranty. With only 2 previous owners and me being the 3rd, she has only covered just shy of 33k and I have all the MOT certificates to back this up. Brand new BOSCH battery with a 4 year warranty fitted 6 months ago and 2 new front tyres.
I have left her totally standard with no major modifications made to the engine. The only changes taken place are the wheels which have been powder coated and the car has been tinted. Engine wise, only a Greens Air panel filter has been upgraded and upgraded spark plugs. The vehicle already benefits from the Prodrive Performance Pack which was factory fitted and comes with a certificate. This takes the car up to 305 bhp respectively.
Since I have owned her she has always been garaged and used as a weekend car. The car feels and drives like new with no knocks etc and has never been on a track or raced. The vehicle has been maintained to a very high standard throughout her life and always been ran on Shell V MAX fuel. The vehicle has always been left to idle and before and cooled down after driving. The bodywork on the car is excellent for its year and I doubt you will find a cleaner example both in and out.
The car has always been regularly detailed by Swiss Wax approved Detailers. Swiss Wax being one of the best in the industry with a tub costing up to £800.00 a pot! As you can see form the pictures the car looks like new.
These are not your run of the mill valet firms from down the road and actually take pride and care in what they do. The last 2 details on the car have been carried out recently, one being 10 months ago which was full detail of the vehicle and the wheels being refurbished costing £520.00 in total and invoice is available for the work. This also included a few minor dents being taken out from stone chips etc.
I have just had the car topped up with another detail 3 weeks ago costing £200.00 and she is looking like new and ready for the new owner. As you can see from the above, the car has had no expense spared and has been looked after to a very high standard.
The car comes with a Full service history with 3 stamps being from Subaru. The rest of the service history is done from a high performance and a Subaru enthusiast owned Garage. The car currently has 12 and a half months MOT expires 06/09/14 with no advisories. Service and MOT history below:
0310/05 @ 785 miles
12/10/06 @ 8923 miles
22/10 /07 @ 13782 miles
22/09/08 @ 16467 miles + 1st MOT for the car after the 3 year period.
04/09/10 @ 20850 miles + 2nd MOT
07/09/11 @ 25149 miles + 3rd MOT
06/09/12 @ 28144 miles + 4th MOT
14/08/13 @ 32887 miles- Oil and Filter Change + 5th MOT (12.5 Months)
Please note the car is a cat D, it was a cat D when I purchased this back in 2007. The car was inspected by a friend of mine who is a mechanic of 10 years and also does car body repairs. The work on the car has been carried out to a very high standard and is faultless as you will see from the pictures.
Viewing is highly recommended to truly appreciate the vehicle. Test drives are only possible if you have proof of insurance with you and are fully comp to drive the car. I will also not entertain young group of lads turning up. I live with my wife and 2 children and any inspections are by appointment only. The car is sensibly priced with similar mileage cars selling over the 10k mark.
Thanks for looking.

I think the pictures show how well the car looks. Regarding the insurance companies, They more than keen to write off a car at any given chance as it saves them the time and hassle and even money in some cases i.e getting the car towed away, paying for storage, giving a hire vehicle to the insured driver, booking and engineer to come and inspect the vehicle. Its all time and money fo as stated its easier to write off.
A good example of this is only last week when one of relatives went in to the back of someone in his mercedes c220 on a 59 plate and it has been written of by the insurance company. Damage being. Wing, bumper, bonnet and head lights, which is an easy enough fix with the right parts. Then again just shows how the insurance companies just dont want to put up with the hassle and its easier for them to right it off.
