Default 2002 Impreza STi - Black/Blue (08V) Large Spec For Sale

CAR NOW SOLD Regards
Steve

FOR SALE
Subaru Impreza STi 2002 (02 Plate) - 67,000 miles , FSH , 4 previous owners (me being the owner since May 2007 making me the 5th owner), 482 bhp or 452 bhp depending on MAP (with proof not just made up numbers) , great condition .

The time has come for me to sadly (with a very heavy heart) put my car up for sale.

I have owned this car for over 6 years with many, many happy memories of ownership and the wonderful people I have come to meet. But sadly, with children getting bigger and a house move on the horizon it is time to move on.

Pictures (I'm not great at photos). Car was last cleaned June and Polished in May. But you can see the condition is good.

Also, interior is above average for age. (given her a hoover since photos)

More photos on request only.

Photos with white set of wheels on.

Now, before I get to the spec of the car I will get the BAD BITS out the way first.[LIST=1]
1.I have used this car every day since owning her. So will show signs of age. A few minor stone chips on bonnet & x4 light dents on wing (NSF/OSF).
2.I spotted (22/07/2013) one of the coil overs seals has gone and is leaking. I was hoping to get ALL 4 serviced again soon anyway as they are now coming up 5.5 years old as well as a Geometry.
3. MOT advisory of shock so will need resolving and taken that into account.
4 . Car was repaired following incident back in 2007. This was repaired via Subaru (Cheam Motors). I have proof of photos of damage if required. This was not classed so any HPI requests carried out will give a full bill of health and will be clear.
5. x2 of the n/s alloys have minor scuffs. Alloys in very good condition other than this.

With that out the way, now to the good stuff and some information of the car itself.

I have spared no expense of this car since ownership. All of the parts used are premium stockiest or Subaru genuine parts.

NEVER SMOKED IN .
Paint work gets an annual cleanse including removing all possible contaminants, x3 layers of polish stages and x2/3 wax coatings. (Happy to give last remaining products I use on car to keep it topped up. (Blackfire).
Being a STi the interior is blue/black seats (good condition), MOMO steering wheel with red stitching, STi clock with rev settings and warning.
Alloy pedals and foot rest.
A/C (nice and cold - gets switched on during winter times too)
Intercooler water spray button (manual)
All Electric Windows

Drivers and Passengers Airbags

Factory Fitted Remote Central Locking/Alarm and Immobilizer with Both Keys
The ashtray & cigarette lighter have never been used and the headliner is spotless.
Main cabin light and boot bulbs upgraded to give more light (blue/white tint)

Mileage on the car is only 67,000 (Pictures show current miles but will be used for work until sale due) But limited use as of 05/08/2013 .
It has 4 previous owners (me owning the car for 6 years & previous owners all enthusiasts)
Binder full of documents and proof of purschases.
TAX due 31/05/2014 (Tax is £280 I think for a year at the moment)
MOT due August 2014. (All previous MOT paperwork also) .
FULL TANK OF FUEL (will also give last remains of Millers Methanol for use on high boost map)
FULL SERVICE HISTORY (Some main dealer and Subaru Specialists since new) , including last service by Surrey Subaru Specialists , Brake Fluid, Belts , Water Pump (RCM/Cosworth) / Oil Pump (Cosworth) , Transmission fluids (Millers Race).
Binder Folder Full of invoices and receipts, service booklet.
Oil changed every 2,500 / 3,000 miles.

Now for the full modifications list. There are some bits I need to add.

This is all I can think of for now, so could be more to add. I am no good when it comes to advertising a car and to be honest the car speaks for itself.

I am an honest person and have given the best honest description I can.

The car is well known by most Subaru enthusiasts and attended big events including Colin McRae Gathering in 2008 where it was the front cover car for Top Gear USA .
I have spent a small fortune on this car since ownership and I will be sad to see it go but I am confident the future owner will have just as much fun owning it as I have.

Looking for a quick as possible sale and have priced fairly but open to offers as per the above mentioned regarding Coil overs need servicing etc.

NO I AM NOT INTERESTED IN THE FOLLOWING
PART EXCHANGE
TEST PILOTS
BREAKING PARTS etc etc

Thanks for reading.

Steve

Steve are you on crack !

Your car is probably second only to Frayz's bug and the price is ridiculously cheap !!!

Gobsmacked mate, if I hadn't just bought my S202 I'd be at your door tomorrow !

Cheers Buddy.

Just being realistic. I'm sure if I put it up for a decent price it would sell better .

Shame but reality mate in modern times.

Thanks gents.

I know its mad when you think the money that has been spent on it.

I'll be gutted to see it go to be honest but kids come first so need to move on. Will be upsetting seeing it drive away but happy knowing someone is going to get some fun out of it and give it more time it deserves which I can't these days.

Ah Mr Fud sir. I’ve been expecting you.

Good and valid points mate.

Depends how fussy you are. I am mighty fussy to things like this. Someone else may not be so and wonder what the fuss is. I can take pictures for anyone if needed.

Even though for its age its well above average for a car used on a regular basis. As mentioned MINOR stone chips. x2 light scuffs on N/S front and rear alloys but hardly notice.

Engine has done around 10-11k on full mods and anyone who knows me calls me a big girl for my driving. No knocking or weird noises. I asked Simon (JGM) each time and get the same answer " It sounds good . Nothing on the cans " . Oil changed every 2-3k as mentioned and all fluids checked every weekend.

The following ones that are in need of attention are pointsThe coilovers only .

Unfortunately I may not have enough time to head over to PowerStation or a like for a rebuild and on that basis have taken that into account and priced car fairly.

As for alloys. Car will be sold with ROTA GRA 18x7.5 in Steel Grey with Parada (Yokohama) Spec 2 225/40 . Tyres still have the bobble bits on and the wheels aother than the above mentioned are like ALMOST new. (Will be selling the white set too so if the buy is interested that will be charged differently)

Regards
Steve

Cheers guys.

MOT booked in. We update on what it says regarding the rear O/S/R shock. Other than this issue I cannot see why the car cannot do what it normally does and pass.

Fingers crossed.

Cheers Rob.

I'd love to keep it but a house move and kids getting bigger requires a change in life and the car is the first of many ahead for the good.

I'll be back again in a year or two if all goes to plan.

It's sad to see so many well sorted Imprezas having to be sold on the cheap.
That is stupid money for that car. It's giving it away. At least put the price up so it's bought by someone who really wants it and knows what they're buying.
If there's a way round it don't do it Steve.

Still think you're mad to sell it.

Such a well looked after car with a fortune spent on it, someone is going to get a bargain.

Don't take a penny under the asking price IMO

I will be back one day have no fear. Besides, you will miss my phone calls too much on renewal time claiming to sell patato bags (got Mags with that one too) and Terry Tibbs . lol

Someones going to get a very well looked after and spec bug.

Does the gimp mask go with the car or will you be keeping it for our meetings?
