Default 2003 (53) SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI TYPE UK

2003 (53) Subaru Impreza WRX STI TYPE UK

- 61k miles

- MOT & Tax til end of September 2013

- Full Service History

- Excellent condition

Reason for sale is that this is a second car- I did have a company car as well but have just changed jobs and no longer have a company car so am having to sell to replace with a suitable diesel for work. I am gutted to see it go as I spent a lot of time finding the right car and looked at about 8 other cars before I found this one.

The car was totally standard when I bought it apart from a Pipercross panel filter. The standard exhaust was rather quiet and muffled the great sound the Impreza makes so I opted to put a Japanese Stainless cat-back exhaust on the car. It sounds great and the car is still fine for passing emissions at MOT because the catalytic converters remain in place. I also installed a Forge blow off valve in place of the standard re-circ valve which is personal preference. I have the original valve and the original exhaust which I will include with the car if wanted. The official BHP figure for the standard car is 261BHP- with the exhaust fitted it is running at approximately 280 but I have not had the car on a rolling road since fitting.

The exhaust and forge valve I put on have only been on the car for 1000 miles. Before that, apart from the Pipercross panel filter, the car has been totally standard all it's life.

The car is in fantastic condition. Mechanically it is faultless in all areas. I had a Subaru specialist mechanic spend 2 hours with it up on a ramp after I bought it checking everything over and it is all in excellent condition. The previous owner was also a mechanic.

The car has a comprehensive full service history. It is main dealer stamped up to 53k at which point the last 2 service stamps have been done by the previous owner who was a Renault main dealer mechanic.

Service stamps are as follows:

1001 miles - Nov 03 - Subaru
9723 miles - Oct 04 - Subaru
18848 miles - Oct 05 - Subaru
26737 miles - Oct 06 - Subaru
32869 miles - Nov 07 - Subaru
41528 miles - Apr 09 - Subaru
46715 miles - Mar 10 - Subaru *Included cam belt change*
53730 miles - Dec 11 - Renault Main Dealer
59298 miles - June 12 - Renault Main Dealer

The car was serviced 2000 miles ago. As shown in the service book the cam belt was changed at 46k. The clutch was also changed with an exedy clutch at 48k miles by the previous owner.

All 4 tyres have good tread.

Brake pads & discs were changed all round by the previous owner and have covered approx 2000 miles. Unsure of the make, the discs do make a slight noise as some do but work well and have excellent stopping power.

The car is only ever run on 99 fuel.

Tax and MOT til end of September. There were no advisories on the last MOT.

Interior:

The seats look like new, there is no sign of wear on them at all and no stains, marks, holes or rips etc- as you can see from the pictures.

The car has my own Pioneer double din head unit fitted at present. This will not be included with the car- unless you wish to pay an extra £100 and I will leave it in. It is a top of the range head unit with bluetooth handsfree with a microphone installed. It will also play music using bluetooth controlled from the head unit. It also has a front usb slot. If you do not wish to pay the extra for this I will remove it- if you want the standard Subaru head unit they can be picked up on eBay for around £20.

All electrics are working perfectly and the air conditioning works as it should, blowing ice cold air (actually blows colder air than my 1 year old BMW 3 series company car does!)

There is a set of 4 STI floor mats in the car.

The original tool kit and locking wheel nut are present in the compartment in the boot.

Exterior:

Is in very good condition for the age. I wash and wax the car on a weekly basis and the paintwork is in great condition. The only thing to mention is that obviously it is 10 years old so does have a few stone chips on the bonnet and the odd small mark here and there, as would any car of this age. But nothing bad - if I'm being picky there is a small scratch on the passenger side bottom corner of the front bumper, which would probably polish out. It doesn't bother me but just trying to include as much detail as possible.

The alloy wheels do have some curbing- there is a picture of 1 above- but not too bad and has never bothered me.

I have the V5 document, the original leather Subaru folder with all original manuals, the original radio code, immobiliser code, alarm certificate, service book, MOT certificates etc and 2 sets of keys.

I also have a complete HPI check from the RAC that was done around 2 months ago which will be included.

The price I'm asking is £5999.00 - I feel that this car is worth every penny and is priced to sell. I have been as honest as I can and included every detail I can about the car.

The price is the price and I am not open to any offers, so please don't contact me unless you are interested at the full asking price. As I have included so much detail about the car I am also not going to be haggled down at a viewing.

Please feel free to get in touch any time if you have any questions or to arrange a viewing. If you send me an email by using the contact member option I do respond straight away. Or you can contact me (James) on 0775 483 4527.

The car is located in Stafford, Staffordshire and is close to the M6 J13/14 and a major train station.

Viewings are welcome. No test pilots or time wasters. If you wish to test drive the car you can do- but only by bringing proof of insurance with you- in the form of an insurance certificate showing that you have comprehensive cover on this specific car. Otherwise I will drive and you can come along as a passenger.

Payment is to be made in cash only- no bank transfers or any other kind of transfers. If you wish to pay a deposit to secure the car you can do so via Paypal and must be £500.

The previous owner was also a club member.

£5999.00 ( No offers )
