Testing the water *2003 JDM STI*
Due to having an itch for a Sierra Cosworth, I am testingthe water by putting the Subaru up for Sale. I am in no rush to sell the carand will list it on here first as I would rather it went to an enthusiast thatwill look after it.
I have owned the car since April 2010. It had 45k on theclock when I purchased it, it now has 56k. It has Tax until 31/01/2014 and MOTuntil 25th Feb 2014 (No Advisories)
Imported into the UK and registered in May 2007, 1 previousUK owner prior to me, had 26k on when it came over.
Specification:
2003 JDM STI

Rear Strut Brace
Whiteline Rear 24mm adjustable Anti Roll Bar
Whiteline Rear Camber Bolts

Zero Sports front 23mm Front Anti Roll Bar

Alignment set up by Zak at Mocom Racing.

AP Racing red 6 pot front brake callipers CP7040 with APPads and 355mm AP Discs.
Gold Brembo 2 pot rear brakes
AP Racing Brake fluid
HEL Braided lines
Defi Boost, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure Gauges in ATI Centrepod
WR1 Gear ****
Kenwood Head unit
Alpine front and rear speakers
Electric Mirrors
Air Con
Benen Front and rear towhooks
Scoobynet Tax Disc Holder
Cambelt was done at 45k
Gearbox 4th gear synchro also done at 45k
New Clutch at 45k
New Neutral Position switch at 51k miles
Car was on 54k miles when it had the major power upgradeparts fitted
Car has also been serviced on time in my ownership; anythingthat has needed doing has been done. Car has been looked after by Neil atSlowboy Racing. Was last serviced at 55k with oil, filter, plugs and brakefluid.
The spares that I have and will be included are: Fujitsubo2.5” Exhaust system with twinscroll cat/VF37 Turbo/ New Sard FPR/ Revolution front splitter (cracked when wasoriginally fitted, now been repaired but haven’t refitted)
I also have a tailor made car cover to go with it.
I would describe the bodywork as being good for a ten yearold car. In September of last year I had the front bumper, bonnet, roof, rearbumper sprayed at a bodyshop. I clean the car with meguiars, dodo juice and poorboysproducts. Particularly use Poorboys Black Hole to give it a deep shine. Howeverdue to the bad winter we have had the car hasn’t had a ‘major clean’ for awhile and ideally would benefit from a detail.
One of the wheels has a minor curb mark on it and I meanvery minor. The tailgate and spoiler have a few scratches. The fuel cap couldalso do with a spray. These were the next things I was going to get done by theBodyshop.
I have tried to be as honest as I can with the car. I’mstill not 100% sure I am doing the right thing by putting it up for sale, but Ireally do just fancy a Cosworth. If it does sell I will definitely be back oneday in another Subaru.
I am after 9.5k for the car or could do a deal on a SierraCosworth.
Thanks for taking the time to read my advert
Matthew

JDM's are worth the extra premium.
Simtek and Ap's are worth 3k alone (new)
This will sell in time, good luck mate, lovely car
