**Low Mileage 2003 Impreza STI for Sale**
Had my stunning Impreza since June 2007 but I have a Porsche itch which needs to be scratched and now the time is right so as Lord Sugar says, it is with great regret……….
I would welcome any professional inspection (i.e. not your mate Dave who knows all about them because he fitted a dump valve to a RS Turbo back in 1992) and if you would like a test drive you’ll have to produce proof of fully comp insurance for the day www.dayinsure.com and produce evidence that you have the funds in place to carry out the purchase if you so wish. Joyriders need not apply! Please note my cherished plate will not be included in the sale and is in the process of being put on retention. I will not let my car go until I have the V5C back from the DVLA
I’m not looking for any type of part exchanges. Tyre kickers, test pilots and agencies will be met with hilarity, then a polite but firm goodbye. I do not need to sell and if I don’t get any interest I will happily continue to enjoy it as it still puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it!
So to conclude, it’s a mechanically sound, low mileage car which drives without fault, so if you’re thinking of viewing and then making a derisory offer, please do not waste your time or mine. I am based near the West Essex/Hertfordshire border 20 minutes from Stansted Airport
£6,750
PM me in the first instance if you wish to discuss further
Thanks
Dan

- As you can see above, although the previous owner had the running in service completed, it unfortunately missed the next scheduled 2. I was told that he worked abroad alot, but it never really concerned me as I purchased the car from the same Subaru dealer who gave it a comprehensive service before it went on their forecourt under their approved car scheme. I have the sale invoice of £15,995
- In April 2008 some thieving scum broke into my house, found my keys and decided to help himself. After notifying the Police, Insurance and Tracker company I had our resident celebrity Interceptor contact me saying that they would park the car up somewhere, leave it for a few days then come back for it. Luckily the car was running on fumes when it was taken, and after the tracker was activated it was found 8 miles from my home with thankfully no damage, exactly as Tissy said it would! As my keys were taken I had these replaced along with the ignition barrel and locks, and the alarm and immobiliser were recalibrated via my insurance. The car runs without fault and has never had any mechanical issues before or after the event.
- The bodywork is generally in very good condition with exception of a small bumper scuff on the rear drivers side (see picture 5). I have been quoted £130 for the repair. There are a few other diminutive marks in line with it being a 9 year old car

Hi mate,
just a quick point - If you havent been paid out for the car which obviously you havent as you got the car back the car should still he hpi clear i think?? Its just happened to me many years ago when I bought an Astra GSi off a bloke and same thing happened. Car got stolen but found within same day with no damage and the car still showed hpi clear...
Eitherway goodluck with the sale.

I would expect any prospective buyer to run there own HPI check anyway so wanted to be up front in the advert to save any confusion even though it was nearly 5 years ago

**UPDATE**
I have contacted the HPI check people and they have confirmed that the car is HPI clear and have sent me a 5 page report stating no adverse data recorded
So there you go, ive just saved you £20 on your own HPI check ha ha
As a result i'm thinking now my asking price is too low but i think it would be bad form for me to adjust the price on here, however it will be advertised elsewhere for a higher asking price.

Thanks for your kind words mate. Yes its been the best car ive ever owned. I've always changed cars every 2-3 years but i've had this over 5 and a half and that speak volumes imo. Can honestly say its been a pleasure and i still love driving it even after all this time
