Default Possible sale MY99 UK turbo only 49k with mods

Now £2500 ovno

my friend is looking at the car this weekend, if we can't agree a price it will be for sale.
I'm finding it hard to judge a fair price, any comments?

UK 1999 Turbo with the following mods:

Engine bottom end was rebuilt to standard spec by Xtreme Scoobies in 2003 including new uprated oil pump (The mileage was 22471)
Mocal oil cooler (sited behind rad for fast warm up on the road)
STI v8 intercooler
STI v6 suspension all round
Autometer 52mm Boost, Oil PREssure & OIL TEMP Gauges in centre dash console.
(light up green to match Speedo/Revcounter)
Knocklink
NGK PFR7B plugs
K&N panel filter
Prodrive rear box
2.5 inch decat downpipe
Wheel alignment recently set at Mocom
Rear subframe lockup bolts
Braided brake lines all round
Walbro 255 fuel pump

All mods carried out by Zak at Mocom Racing
I was aiming for a fast but civilsed road car with the extra safety of the mods.
Interior in very good condition.
I am only the second owner, when I bought the car in 2009 it was completely standard.
Car has FSH up to end of 2009 with every MOT & a big stack of receipts & was taken off the road in April 2010.

Standard UK MY99 features include: Bucket type sports seats,Steering wheel rake adjustment, PAS, Headlight washers, Front fog lights, front and rear electric windows, 16" alloy wheels, AWD, ABS, front airbags,Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser, remote central locking,4 pot front brakes.
This is the seventh Impreza I've owned so always run on Super Unleaded and always warmed up and cooled down. Excellent condition for the age.

Bad points:

Car has been sitting for 2.5 years so will need an oil/filter change
(I still regularly wash her & fire her up & drive around the block, plus I park in gear so no problems with sticky brakes)
It will also need cambelt replacement.
Few scratches on rear bumper
Small scratch on offside front wing

Car has no MOT at the mo but I have an MOT station at the end of my road , so I'm sure if I got them to swap the decat downpipe back for the standard one the car will fly thru.
I have just seen a standard MY 00 wagon with 51000 on Autotrader, £3295 trade.
So I'm asking £2500 ovno with MOT & including all standard parts (Exhaust, intercooler & shocks/springs) I think a fair price for the lowest mileage classic I can find on the web!

It'll probably need something doing with the brakes as well if its been sat for that long, best to do all fluids also. If you can get 3k this time of year and in this climate I'd say that's a pretty good price

I have always used the "click copy shortcut on the desired photo" method in the past.

Hi She Devil,
tks for the interest,as it happens I've decided to temp insure the Scoob & MOT & tax her this week. Then hopefully I'll get Zak to give her an oil/filter change & change cambelt.I think my friend has lost interest (Too busy with his Porsche Turbo, AC Cobra Rep & Yamaha 1000 the poor bloke! )
The car may seem a bit pricey but if I total up the mods WITHOUT fitting charges:

Mocal oil cooler + pipes (sited behind rad for fast warm up on the road) 500
STI v8 intercooler 250
STI v6 suspension all round 400
Autometer 52mm Boost, Oil PREssure & OIL TEMP Gauges in centre dash console. 250
(light up green to match Speedo/Revcounter)
Knocklink 100
NGK PFR7B plugs 40
K&N panel filter 40
Prodrive rear box 50
2.5 inch decat downpipe 140
Wheel alignment recently set at Mocom 50
Rear subframe lockup bolts 20
Braided brake lines all round + new fluid 50
Walbro 255 fuel pump 100
Total £1990

If you wanted the car more standard I could remove the gauges & swap the STI8 intercooler back with the standard one,& swap the exhaust system over.
As it is the car sounds great, stops & handles really well & bombs up to an indicated 150mph
(on the autobahn of course )
Please feel free to call/txt me on 07904 455985 to discuss options. This is a forced sale, I've lost my job otherwise I would not be selling & hence I would have liked to sell to my friend so I could buy it back from him at some point.
BTW the MY99 cars have a better ECU so they're a bit faster & better on petrol than MY00 cars.
Cheers, John

Thanks for the reply John, nice car, I understand about the mods on the car and how much they cost, just a shame I lost mine to a fire. Will be in touch. T x
