Hello.

You are correct, the P1 box does not have the DCCD.
The DCCD roller switch and the DCCD control ecu are still present.

Hope this helps.

Best bet would be to put up the gearbox code from the bellhousing, i'm after a DCCD car (RA) myself so it'd be something if ask for.

Aren't P1's on 4.44 diffs anyways, so same ratios as the original box for all intents?

752 DCCD will not work with a 754 box.

Stand to be corrected

Indeed, what I'm saying is the original box would've had 4.44 diffs with DCCD and the replacement P1 box would also have 4.44 diffs but be non DCCD, so unsure of how it would be better for UK roads bar a slightly more open gearset?

5th gear is longer on the P1 box.

For a couple of reasons by my RA has a P1 box too. I'm swapping back to a complete 752 R180 setup before selling as I didnt think i would be able to sell it without fully functioning DCCD.

The DCCD is the tail piece of the box and is the same design on both 754 and 752 boxes.
P1 box is 3.9 final drive no 4.44.

P1 has a final drive of 4.44 and has the same gearing as the sti5/6 which is 21mph per 1000rpm, where as the type r is 19mph per 1000 rpm. Cant comment on the compatibility of the dccd tail ends though.
