Default 2002 blobeye JDM STI

I have finally made the decision to move on from a Subaru.

I have not made this decision lightly and have swayed between keeping it and selling it for months now. I bought the car earlier this year in April from API and haven't really had too many days where I have properly enjoyed owning the car.

the spec,

2002 JDM STI blobeye in black mica (black with gold fleck) which looks great when the sun hits it

it comes with all the usual JDM extras,

HID headlamps
red faced sweeping dials (like defis)
dccd gearbox
twinscroll turbo and equal length headers
rear wiper

Since owning the car I have fitted a new exhaust

2.5" decat centre section
2.5" afterburner backbox

and had the car remapped and the apexi avcr (already in the car when purchased) setup correctly to run 3 power settings

0.7 bar for economy
1.25 bar standard boost level
1.55 bar high boost setting

This is now a very fast car and produces power from very low down with minimal turbo lag.

the bad points.

every car has them and unfortunately this is no different,

unfortunately the car has no service history with it but before I bought the car it was cared for by API and I assume they would have records to show this.
the paint has some stone chips and some other age related marks and has had some previous paint done after the car was removed from storage.
the passenger headlight lets in a small amount of water but this is easily got rid of with the headlights on.

I paid £xxxx for the car and have improved its general looks and performance drastically in the last six months so I have set the price at the same level as I bought it.

I will add pics on Tuesday, if you want any more details about the car or then give me a pm

The exhaust in the last pic isn't the one currently fitted to the car

What power is it making?

Have you had it serviced since you bought it?

The boost was at 0.7 bar when I bought it and until it was remapped as the apexi avcr was not set up. I had the car mapped at pole position by Andrew Carr

I wouldn't want to quote a figure as its not been on a dyno whilst in my possession but it has api 350 performance badges on each wing and I would say its probably not far off give or take a little. The car was serviced just over 1000 miles ago with fresh oil and filter baring in mind it was fully serviced with new discs and pads from api upon my purchase
