Engine blew, really enjoyed making it decent until the engine blew

 

Plenty of engines for sale mate I reckon u could get a used engine for 500-800 quid I've been where u are mate engine went and u just think urgh I want rid but stick with it mate

 

I want it just for the **** plate.... But the misses has changed my eBay password so I can't bid!

Hes who originally said it wasnt worth fixing, nor is it. Im only 21, the engines blown, i just got that Rx8 also thats just about to blow also. Just need to get the cars off the drive now :P

 

And he was right unfortunately. To get classic to a reliable state will cost you a bit , Put it this way... Even without an engine problem you've got week gear box, brakes , rebuilding the engine will escalate the chance of upgrading other bits and bobs as well.... IMHO its buyers market ATM... You can get a decent motor for not alot of money with tastefull mods done already... Good luck whateva you decide...
