2005 WRX STI TYPE UK
2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI TYPE UK in stunning condition inside and out.
2.0 manual 6 speed in black with all the usual STI goodies.
05 STI's are regarded as the best UK Subaru's ever made as they are the last of the solid 2.0 engines coupled with wider track rear to help cancel understeer and the Driver Controlled Centre Diff
Impeccable service history with the first 4 from Subaru, then 4 from Roger Clark Motorsport. Oil and filter change done myself last month on top of the service history using millers 10W50 competition fully synthetic.
The car had over £3500 spent on a Roger Clark Street conversion which included a full 3" japspeed exhaust including sports cat, RCM induction kit, fuel pump, uprated plugs and hoses and a remap. I had the car mapped again after I purchased it by Bob Rawle (BR Developments) mainly just to make sure everything was running perfect and piece of mind, it is now running a very healthy and reliable 343bhp.
I am very mechanically sympathetic and take great care to warm the car up properly and using the last few miles of a journey to cool down.
TAX and MOT are until September. I am genuinely upset at having to sell as I do about 4-500 miles a week now and cant justify it anymore after having spent so long to find an excellent example of a very special car.
Pictures will be added shortly, here's the pistonheads add until then.

Still for sale! I have the advertisement from when the previous owner bought it in 2009 from a Subaru dealer for 15.5k and the grill is the same, are you sure it's a non standard grill? Surprised its still here to be honest it's got to be one of the best examples out there!

I think I am the 4th owner, not uncommon for these but come and have a look and you will not be dissapointed, if it doesn't sell in the next few weeks I will probably take it off the road for 6 months and buy a banger, don't think I'll find one like this when I come to it next year

If you've been offered £7,200 you should be grabbing it quick. Cars like ours are just not selling at anything like people think they should be worth. In six months you will be looking at £6,500 if ur lucky. Think about it petrol just keeps going up and a car that does 13-16 mpg is the last thing most people would want. Sorry to sound so negative but most performance car owners are in the same boat with an ever decreasing market and ever increasing fuel prices, just have to look around here, PH etc to see how many people are struggling to sell.

I get where your coming from mate but I'm sure good cars are still worth ok money, its an 05 Sti. I'm starting to think I might be better off keeping it and trying the train/ cheap car option
