555 SUBARU WRC LIMITED EDITION
WRX TYPE RA IMPREZA (No. 0384 of 1000) .

Here we have my very rare 555 ltd edition WRX Type RA Impreza.

This is one of the last of the classic shape GC8 Impreza's in the right colour combination of sonic blue metallic paint with the infamous gold wheels. This is a straight stock car apart from the very rare Tommy Kaira front spoiler and a few other genuine STI upgrades. The 555 WRC limited was produced to replicate the World Rally Championship car of the year ('99).

Don't be put off by the car not being an STI, I had a ver4 STI RA before this and this is just as quick! In fact with it having the phase 2 (EJ20) engine it has slightly better low + mid range torque than the earlier STI's.

No engine mods. Car is completely stock, has not been tuned / messed with.

Extremely rare Tommy kaira front bumper spoiler designed by custom car maker, Tommy Kaira.
The Tommy Kaira aero is one of a kind and adds a more aggressive look to the GC/GF Impreza. The FRP composed front bumper's been designed to direct as much fresh air as possible to the car's radiator with it's giant center duct. List price ¥102 060.00 = 851 GBP!

The car has only ever been run on Shell V-power since I've had the car.
I always warm up and cool down the car properly. There is a Turbo timer present & fitted but it has been disabled for the Auto-watch Cat 1 alarm.

Under-sealed with waxoil before the winter. 100% rust free body and very clean underneath (see pics). Bodywork overall is in amazing condition for a 13 year old car.
Oil & filter changed 2 weeks ago. Rear diff oil replaced just last week.

In terms of service history, there isn't much as the car has only been in the country less than 6 months, however I've checked the original Subaru log book and there is quite a few logs / entries into the service record, but being in Japanese I can't tell you what it means!
The cambelt was changed in Japan at 79km (49, 000 miles), with official sticker in engine bay to prove this.

Bad bits (being ultra critical):

There is a slight knock from the drivers rear shock, it can be heard at very low speeds i.e. below 25mph and when the car is under load. I have had the car on a ramp and there is a slight leak from the strut. The shock itself still works fine and rebounds when pushed down on but could probably do with being changed in the near future. Whilst it was on the ramp I had the driveshafts checked for play and they are all solid. The bushings on the arms, roll bars etc are also in good condition. The whole underneath is in great condition.

There is the odd small scratch on the body, there is one on the front wing where it meets the bumper, the Japanese owner had it covered up and you have to look close.
To be very cricital there is one small car-park ding in the front right fender but again hardly noticeable.
