Default 2005 STI widetrack DCCD Blobeye

I may still be breaking this car, but due to a lack of interest in parts I thought I would post it on here for a day or two as a complete car

Its a MY05 car on a 54 plate. Full STI spec with DCCD gearbox and widetrack. Kei 18" D2 unmarked alloys, full decat. recent shockers, WR1 Grille, unmarked immaculate interior, 44'500 miles, most if not all previous MOT's, plenty bills, ECUtek remap 315/360. No unusual noises and drives perfect.

Bad points reflected in the price:
Car requires 2 front discs as they are slightly warped and the clutch is relatively high. There are signs of a minor front end damage at some point which has been repaired (not an insurance job) thus why im likely to break the car rather than sell as a whole. The odd body mark on the car, but nothing bad as you can see by the pictures if in really good condition.

A car of this spec, age and mileage ideally should be at least £7'500, but for the reasons mentioned above it worth less than £7'500 so, get your offers in please

Breaking thread here https://www.scoobynet.com/full-cars-...d-blobeye.html

Two people have bought items from the car that I will source for them if the car sells as a whole. (bubba j & besty6543)

Its an odd one really, so many folk telling me not to as its too nice, yet not as much interest in parts in comparison to the previous cars.

One chap has just texted me interested in the car but the offer wasn't the best, highest offer so far £6200 from someone in France. Looks like its breaking as you said.... Ideally I wanted more interest in the engine and gearbox before they are removed to prove there worth as they are faultless.

As I said above mate I can't take £6'000, I've refused £6'200 already. Closer to 7K takes it.

I thought you had to set a price (in the SN terms and conditions)so as not to compete with a well known auction site

I don't think I have done anything wrong here Shaun, as I said I think its worth less than £7500 thus the offers coming in at less than £7500 that you get with all sales of cars, parts and just about anything that is for sale

If I had said make me an offer over £7500 then that might be different.

So to be clear, the price for the car is £7500 ono. The offers so far of £5'500, £6'000 and £6'200 have all been refused although the latter one was getting close to being accepted

Please feel free to keep offers coming before the inevitable happens

Mate, on the off chance you're still looking to flog this as a complete car, where abouts are you based?
Based on your above comments, can I assume this is indeed the later widetrack model?

Cheers

Always the way mate - I suspect you'll probably do better in the long run breaking the car, very sad state of affairs isn't it - plus more of a PITA for you, but hope you gets the money you were after

The car owes me just over £6500, and if it wasnt for "this & that" about it I would have definatly kept it, especially for track. Anyway time for a classic I think, the guy that does quite a lot of mechanic work for me keeps telling me to buy a classic as I will never be satisfied with a newage on track unless you have plenty Dollar. So after many cars Im finally coming round to knowing what he means, thus the sale of this.
