Default Version 3 STI Wagon - New Clutch, Andy F Map

Hey guys,

I have owned this car for almost 2 years now and its been my pride and joy, I have spared no expense when it comes to maintaining the car but unfortunately due to a lot of travelling I have to look forward to the car is not really suitable so I'm gutted I have to let it go.

The spec on the car is as follows -Apexi Power FC Mapped By Andy Forrest estimated 330/340bhp
Greddy Boost Gauge
HKS Turbo Timer
NKG Platinum Spark Plugs
Cosworth Oil Cap
Cosworth Panel Filter
HKS SQV 2 BOV
Tommy Kaira Intercooler (larger core compared to the standard sti intercooler)
Cusco Rear Strut Brace
Blitz Nur Spec R Exhaust
Wallbro 255 Fuel Pump
SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator
Afterburner De-cat downpipe
Kakumei Equal Length Headers with up-pipe wrapped and silicone sealed
Cosworth Oil Control Baffle
Cosworth Timing Belt Guide Kit
Cosworth Kevlar Timing Belt
ACT Clutch With Heavy Duty Pressure Plate rated to 515 ft lbs torque.
JDM STI 9 Twin Scroll Sump
Do-Luck Brake Hoses
Stop Tech Fast Road Slotted Discs
Stop Tech Fast Road Pads
Pioneer DEH 5200SD Headunit
White STI Gearknob
HID 6000K Conversion
Crystal Side Indicators
Crystal Front Indicators
Version 5/6 STI Front Bumper

All the work since I bought the car has been carried out by specialists AWD and RA Motorsport.

The car recently had brand new discs, pads and calipers on the rear, this was due to the rear calipers sticking so have been replaced with brand new items, stop tech slotted discs and fast road pads were fitted to the front at the same time as well as also having a brand new ACT clutch fitted with a heavy duty pressure plate rated to 515 ft lbs torque! That work alone cost £1815,03!!

The rocker cover gaskets were also done last year and the car underwent a full service at RA Motorsport in december last year which included the fitting of various parts on the list as well as the Cosworth Kevlar Timing belt, a new aluminium radiator was fitted due to the old one leaking. Engine, Diff and gearbox oils were changed with Millers oil.

One of the big plus points for this car was when I bought the car I noticed the engine looked absolutely immaculate, even the cylinder heads. AWD, RA Motorsport and Andy Forrest have said its had a new engine, Andy had a good look at the car when it was mapped and commented about the cylinder heads as well, so to find that out was fantastic news for me. Andy Forrest also estimated the car to be around the 330 to 340bhp mark when it was mapped. It's always been treated with care, warmed up and cooled down and always run on V-Power regardless of how expensive the stuff has got these days.

The car has all the usual STI spec and I really think it is a stunning example and it's really quite rare to see an STI wagon these days so that was another reason why I bought it, I had a UK turbo wagon before this. All electric windows work, folding electric mirrors.

There are a couple of minor bad points which I will point out, the cigarette lighter has stopped working, I went to use my sat nav recently and it wouldn't charge, however I will look into this. The air conditioning needs re-gassing, when you switch on the button the car doesn't get any colder however living in Scotland its not something I've ever used haha. There is also a little bit of bubbling on the left rear arch. There is also a cover missing on the top spoiler however I have a replacement for this which is a genuine Subaru part.

The car will be sold with the standard STI exhaust as well, along with the original gearknob, I don't mean I'll be removing the Blitz system btw, just stating that the original exhaust will be included with the car I have the certificate for the Apexi FC unit as well with the original box should anything ever go wrong with that. I sadly don't have the original headers as they had a crack in them.

Current Mileage is 123, 339 miles on the clock now which is around 76,670 miles. However this will change slightly as I still use the car.The car was also converted to MPH when it came into the country as well as being delimited and the rear right reverse light has been fitted with a red bulb which is the rear fog light, there is a switch on the dash to operate this, I thought it was a nice feature as you don't have a gastly cheap looking rear fog light stuck to the bottom of the bumper.I have tried to cover as many points as possible but should you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

I've already seen the replacement for this car so ideally I'm looking for a quick sale.

I appreciate the tax and mot is due soon so I have taken that into account.

Taxxed until 31st October 2011
MOT'd until 17th November 2011

Price - £3800

Many thanks for looking.

Hey all,

Rather than fart about with removing parts I was able to borrow cash for the new car thankfully so the only parts that have been removed from the car are the gearknob, cosworth oil cap and the strut brace.

I don't want to have this sitting not getting used so I've lowered the asking price of the car to £3500 or nearest offer.

I really will be sad to see this go, I am planning to have a look at the cigarette lighter this weekend and I'll be getting the top spoiler cover sprayed and put on the car so that will correct 2 of the small faults but small faults none the less.

Many thanks

Bump

Hate to see this sitting in the drive doing nothing, doesn't look like good times to be selling any car at the moment unfortunately
