2005 STi Type UK PPP - £7,700
After much deliberation, I am selling the Scoob due to increased work mileage and therefore hardly driving it .
Car located in Lincoln. £7,700. Offered to SN enthusiast before eBay and Autotrader .
2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi PPP (301 bhp) in Crystal Grey Metallic.
There are a mixture of photos here as it would seem that we haven't had decent weekend weather here in Lincoln forever so I haven't been able to wash/hoover/polish/take recent pics .
61,156 miles currently. As this is a MY05 it has the DCCD and wider track; Featuring in Japanese Performance Car’s Buyer’s Guide. Excellent Condition, everything works with no known faults.
Full Service History: –
1,144 Subaru
8,395 Subaru
18,880 Subaru
30,126 Subaru
40,020 Subaru
49,168 (Cambelt) Independent
60,005 Independent.
Tax until end of August ; M.O.T due March 2012; HPI clear; Prodrive Performance Pack certificate present; All tyres good and less than 1 year old; 1 alloy kerbed (by my wife ); Climate Control.
Standard car except for K&N panel filter and Scoobyworld Afterburner Vortex stainless steel exhaust, from the Prodrive sports cat backwards.
RAC Trackstar fitted and working with additional security from a Clifford BlackJax 4 anti-hijack system.
Click for video of the exhaust...
Loads of photos available on request from the Jap Mag photo shoot. Any questions, just PM me. Thanks.
NO PART EXCHANGE OR SWAPS THANKS.

Yup...the market is certainly on its knees at the moment. in some ways, a cult, niche car like scoobies you might think would be able to ride this storm but i guess from people's comments, maybe not.
i had my car up for sale a few months back and had loads of responses to it from SN, ebay, autotrader etc...no viewings however. decided i liked the car too much so took it off sale. guessing nothing has changed in those intervening months in the car market.
as some have said before, a good car will sell...let's see hey!
Thanks!! glad you liked that. filmed that for another thread on here but couldnt get any further due to neighbour's F*RD Mundane having a fit of the alarms everytime i blipped the throttle.

as said previously, i am negotiable on the price...but do folks think my pricing is okay?

Honestly, price wise I really think you're just a tad too low if anything.
8k regardless of what others say the market is doing etc is a remarkable price for a car such as this.
So what if there are cars struggling to sell - the fact is that if I am sat here (having just bought one 9 months ago) thinking that I would have bit your hand off at that price and giving serious thought to a short term loan to buy it, then there must be others too.
Some one will get a very very tidy car here at a very very tidy price IMO.
Good luck with the sale

i thought the price was about right as i know that there will be a little bit of haggling built in. i really think that for the performance for £ its a good deal. although i have had a pm from another user saying he was looking at a similar car with less miles for 7k! i can only imagine there was something not quite right with that.
i will just take my time with it and not get too hung up on how long it takes to sell. i shall give it a couple of weeks and then start advertising elsewhere. as it is i am not using it to keep the miles down, which is the reason its being sold.
thanks for your kind words and sage advice.

Yeah I would guess something may have been not quite so with that other car - I know the economy is some what lacking but I would still have to apply the common wisdom that if something sounds too good....

Finally a break in the weather has allowed me to give the car a wash and polish! Here's a few photos from today's cleaning session. Will be doing the inside tomorrow so I shall add some then.

Do u fancy a swop with an x5 350 bhp, on a 52 plate, full service history 60'000 miles, fully loaded, silver blacked out rear windows, I paid 11,000 for it 8 months ago but it's 4.6 v8, superb sound tho, I love it but just can't afford the fuel.

Oh...this car is now in this month's Japanese Performance Car Magazine (August, issue 127)...see it in all it's glory.
Come on guys...£7,700 for a wide track STi Prodrive? It's a steal!

still less than average if you go for 12k as yearly amount. as it says in the buyers guide in jap perf mag that features my car...go for condition and history over mileage

Cheers Edd. Certainly has generated some good interest...got it advertised on PH, fleabay, trader etc. Sure it won't hang around too long now.
