STUNNING Wr Blue Gb270 no:160 mint! just serviced
For sale is my pride and joy Wr Blue GB270 Impreza
£12600 pounds not dollars as listed above
Only 200 of these limited edition imprezas exist and were made to commemorate the last of the Hawkeye saloons before the shape changed to the hatchback. They are very rare.
The car came with a staggering £9000 worth of pro drive extras that included a PPP Engine upgrade, taking the power output to 269 bhp, a suspension and rear anti rollbar upgrade, LSD rear diff, 18 inch Prodrive GT1 wheels, prodrive exhaust system, prodrive body kit, zenon lights, momo gear ****, embroidered floor mats, Stainless steel front grills
When i purchased the car in 2009 i paid for a genuine full leather upgrade with embroidered GB270 logos in the seat backs and leather door centres. A £1700 upgrade. So the interior is less than 18 months old and unmarked
The history of the car is : registered by subaru dealer in Oct 2007 and then sold to Subaru UK in mar 2009 when it accumulated 9000 miles. Virtually undriven for 18 months!.
Since taking ownership of the car it has been serviced at AMC chelmsford (main dealer) and had 5000 mile oil and filter changes. Last oil change in oct 2010 at 25k. mileage is currently at 30400
I changed the tyres to continental sport contact 3 s last year and these have around 4-5 mm of tread left. I have also added a high level rear window vein and rallyarmor mud flaps (same as prodrive but better fitting that does not involve drilling the body work). Genuine pro drive wheel centres.
Just had an upgraded Excedy clutch fitted early January 2011 barely covered 500 miles. This was done by Extreme Scoobies in Boreham essex at a cost of £550
The car overall is immaculate , the front bumper and spolier was renewed last year after an old dear rolled back into the car cracking the bumper. the whole unit was replaced so is unmarked. The bonnet has a couple of very small stone chips. The car is washed weekly and was detailed and paintwork sealed on purchase. It comes up gleaming every wash and looks pristine. I had a problem with one of the MCguard locking wheel nuts when it became jammed a few months back, and was cut off. the stud was replaced as were the locking wheel nuts. There is a mark on one wheel centre.
Front pads wer upgraded to MIntex pads (noisy but good stoppers)
I have tried to be as honest as possible as i really do not like selling cars, I am sure that the first to see will buy but do not want to waste any ones time, so please no time wasters or dreamers, it is a Grp 19 insurance and i am aware it will need servicing in 2-3 thousand miles.
No one except me will drive the car until they own it, i will not be ringing the cars neck on demonstration either. My wife currently drives it daily and me sometimes at weekends, we cover around 90 miles a week.
Update UPDATE: although i will not be dropping the price of the car i will be having the car serviced 19/03/2011. This will be a full on diff oil, gearbox oil, engine oil and filter 30k service. And i will be renewing the front discs and pads to DBA drilled and grooved discs and pads to suit. this is going to cost in excess of 700 quid but will make the car a bit more saleable as the buyer will not have to worry for anything for 10,000miles. Meaning the car will be mint and fully up to date with its service shedules.
FIND ANOTHER THIS CHEAP AND WELL LOOKED AFTER....... you will not. Just been machine polished too
Genuine enquiries only ring Tony on:07767384759.
the car is based in chelmsford essex

It was an option that went with the car and fitted by the main dealer. Most went for the alcantara and leather as it was an encouraged option. being a £1600 choice. But for 1700 at the time i asked if full leather was available and they said yes. i have seen a wagon with it too so it is out there.
You are absolutley right about 300 saloons , i have misread my brochure in all the time i have owned it i honestly thought there were only 300 in total but as it turns out 300 saloons and 100 sport wagons, i stand corrected

Hi,
I am currently looking to buy a GB270, was directed over to this forum and have fallen in love with your car!
I am waiting for my insurance to finalise payment on my old car. I was rear ended by an 18 year old who had had his car for 7 hours! (long story)
I will keep in contact!
(I am from Hertfordshire)
Cheers!
