Is this a 2.5 or 2l ?

Might actually be a little underpriced

Good point, didn't even think of that haha. I'm sure there's other bits I've missed out too!

It's the 2.0

If the motor is running stock internal (not forged) I think you on the upper limits of the engine which might put people off, but im not 100% sure.

if it is that combined with the mileage might put people off.

Make your mind up are you going to forge it or drive about with your partner giving out smoke signals

I must be missing something, why is his car thought to have engine problems and using up oil? Does the car have "history" on this site?

Previous owner is my mate, Carr has used oil since they bought it, it went back to sort and turbo was rebuilt which didn’t fix it,

Car was previously advertised as using oil and was sold for a lot less than advertised on here due to the issue 6 weeks ago.

pistons/rings, rebuild needed hence why guy tried to palm it off to someone else.
thats the thing with buying a Subaru in the scene, there will be someone out there that will find you out if selling a car dishonestly. Well done

Hi mate....I didn't see original for sale advert by the OP but how much did your friend sell for? How much was OP asking for?

Was up for £8500 by my mate and £9750 on here.

My mate had it for sale for ages on facebook pages but the oil usuage was putting people off it.

I was going to buying when he first advertised it but he changed his mind, so i bought my current jdm import, then a month later (july) he put back up for sale.

It sold sept 20th ish.

You could get a decent blob sti for 8500? Why the OP bought one with an oil issue for that is beyond me...I'm guessing apart from the oil issue it had a good spec.
