Default MY00 Turbo 2000 Project for Sale *Lots of Parts*

Hi All,

The idea was nice but as with most things I've just simply not had the time to commit to the project and the wife is getting fed-up of all the car parts hanging around!!

I bought the car earlier in the year as a project, the usual suspects needed doing, rusty arch's, bad body-work and although it ran well it hadn't had a service for a while and had a leaking radiator....

It all stared well, I parked it up, put it on axle stands and got to work, anyway 6 months later and its still a way off so its got to go.

The car is a standard UK Turbo 2000 on a W Reg, 160,000 miles, HPI clear with good service history for the first decade / 100,000 miles. The rear arches and strut towers are rusted in the usual places but I don't think it can't be saved with a bit of elbow grease and welding know-how (which I don't have). Along the way I've spent plenty in preparation for re-building the car with modifications, each item I bought was kept on a list along with the price:

Total Spent - £2,735.05

The purchase and price of almost all of these items can be proven, some items such as the timing belt kit have already been put on the car but can be seen to be new in-place.

As well as all of the items listed above, included are 2 x new rear arch panels ready for welding in, as well as many of the parts removed from the car which were to be replaced with the new items I purchased.

If interested, a deal can include many of the tools I have bought along the way such as a mig welder, torque wrench, ratchet spanners, compression tester, Spark Plug Gauge, sockets, socket adapters, Oil Drain tray, re-threading tap set, coil spring compressors, oil filter remover etc, etc. along with various other parts and tools. I would estimate that I have spent in excess of £500 on tools and other bits and bobs.

All told, to buy the car, transport it and purchase all of the parts and tools to date, the project owes me well over £4.5k. For obvious reasons, the car is not running and isn't looking pretty at the minute but would make a great project for someone to finish. Aside from the bodywork and welding, there are very few parts needed to put the car back together and get it running again.

Obviously, there are a hell of a lot of parts on and off the car here so photos are on request for serious buyers.

I don't mind taking a loss on the project as you never get back what you put in to them, so depending on what is to be included within the deal, I will be looking for £3.5k for the car, all the parts and tools, which means you're basically getting the car for free!!

I am being as honest as possible with the ad, the car was and still is a project, but may make a good base for someone to set the car up as they want it. With the parts and mods I purchased I was hoping to get the car mapped and running at a comfortable 300+bhp, without stressing the gearbox. I have attached 2 pictures, one of the car a few years back and one as is.

DM me for more info.

Cheers.
