JDM 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Widetrack
For sale is my 2004 Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) Impreza WRX STI Wide Track finished in the rare and desirable colour of Aspen White. The car was imported into the country in 2015 by the reputable importer Hurst Cars. At the time of import the car had 124,139km (Roughly 77k miles) on the clock and was converted into miles upon arrival (car currently has 85k miles on the clock). At the same time Hurst Cars fitted a new timing belt kit, registered the car, installed a fog light and had Zen Performance carry out a health check to check everything was as is should be (I have the paperwork for all of the items).
I am the second UK owner and brought the car from a fellow Impreza enthusiast who carried out a few upgrades to enhance the already impressive performance , a brief list is as follows:
-Full Roger Clark Motorsport exhaust system
-3 Port boost solenoid
-Induction kit
-Ecutek remap carried out by RA Motorsport with low and high boost maps (estimate 350 bhp)
-Interior boost, oil temp and oil pressure gauges (I have the original clock and facia)
-BC Adjustable Coilovers and fast road setup
-Front splitter
-Prodrive anti roll bars
-Rally Armour mud flaps
-Grooved performance brake discs
-Performance brake pads
-4 x Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres
The car is my weekend hobby car and as a result only gets used to attend the odd show or go for a bit of a blast on a nice day. I have meticulously cared for and maintained the car whilst in my ownership and in the last couple of months I have changed the pollen filter, fuel filter and rear diff oil, and in the last month Carnetix at Melton Mowbray have changed the engine oil and clutch fluid. The car is rust free and has been undersealed using Dynax UC so underneath is clear for inspection and not covered in oil! During the service at Carnetix, Glen and Michael who work there both commented on how clean it is underneath (feel free to ask them).
I'm sure most people are familiar with the JDM spec Impreza over an equivalent UK model but for those of you who don't a brief list is as follows:
-VF37 Twin scroll turbo
-Nitride coated, cross drilled crank
-13:1 quick steering rack
-Slightly larger intercooler design
-Auto and manual intercooler spray
-More aggressive inlet cams
-Equal length exhaust headers
-Higher 8k Rev Limit with shift light
-1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th same as UK, 5th and 6th are shorter
-DCCD - Driver controlled centre differential
-Additional yaw sensors for the Active Centre Diff
-Electric folding wing mirrors
-Front STI titanium strut brace
-Reverse Alarm
-Red illuminated dash with variable dimmer with Defi Style Sweep on Start-Up
-“Clutch In” only Start
-Rear was window wiper
-Privacy glass
-HID headlamps (xenons)
I would describe the car as very good condition which has been very well looked after. It has a couple of very minor pin dents (no paint damage) which is to be expected from a 13year old car but this doesn't detract from the overall quality of the car. The car has everything it should have in terms of original equipment/paperwork: Japanese stamped service book and manuals; tool kit; jack; distress flare; carpet mats etc etc. Please call for 07833670136 for more info, 2 owners, HPI clear, Next MOT due 13/04/2018, Full service history, 2 keys, White, £10,250 ono
