The interior is very hardcore totally stripped out it's like being in a full on race car lol

probably the interior and its not been mapped for the front mount etc putting people off - looks a tidy motor

 

A standard clean example would probably bring that sort of money.
I would use the money you got for the Prodrive seat to buy oem full interior,sell the cage and fmic,lose the polar performance chip and replace with oem.
More info on engine rebuild or was it just a quick piston swap?
As it stands now probably worth closer to 3K.

Agree with Ossett. .standard cars fetch the money..eventually..seriously modified/tuned cars only make the money when broken for parts. . That's just a fact 95% of the time. These classic imprezas are difficult to sell for decent money as the market is just so small. Type r are a different story .. 4 door....not so easy.. 2.5k phone will ring. Nice car sure it's had loads money spent on it . No criticism of car or price just an honest discussion among imprezas enthusiasts.
