Default Genuine WRX STI SPEC D & PPP 320BHP

Good bits.
I bought this car at a few months old from a dealer in Dec 2006. It is completely standard and has never used on a track. I has now covered just under 58K miles and has been serviced every year - MOT till Feb 17. I have the full service history with all receipts. It have been garaged most of its life and is a very tidy example.
Less good bits.
I crunched the car last year on a dual carriageway at about 60 mph in Jan 15 (flash flood/standing water/XC90 hit the water first and the wash blocked my view/aquaplaned/slide/armco/spin/armco!) - the rear and NSF wings, lights and bumpers were damaged and the car was written off as a Cat C. - no mechanical/chassis/cabin damage or airbag deployment and I was able to drive it home
I bought the car back and it was rebuilt with new Subaru parts from IM Group (really good service from them) and a new set of tyres.
The car has been faultless all the time I've had it and goes like a discreet rocket (Prodrive quoted 0-60 of 4.8)
It's time to sell and I'm looking for circa £9,500 - the car is in Oxted Surrey
PM me if interested before I advertise it more widely

You're about £4500 over priced.

Dont like to mention price on "for sale" threads, but i would seriously consider re-value the car if you are serious in selling it!! But good luck if you can get £9.5k that you want for it!!!!

Well this thread might be going downhill... especially if you read this one too:

So you got paid out £5900 and kept the car, fixed it for £2k leaving you nearly £4k in profit last year, and now you advertise it at several grand more than its worth? Good luck to you!

I think you all have a fair point - as you can tell, I've not got an accurate view on it's value/worth but taking into account what you say, how about offers over £7K ?

Fella honest , on a good day you will see £5k , not wishing you any problems selling but it's a selling price.
Maybe try eBay ?

Im affraid he is not far off its either going to be a very cheap car, a keeper or affraid a breaker even if it was a cat c jdm it wont get that price the cat c tag reduces any real interest in it. As above stick it on ebay with a reserve and see how it goes.

You could at least give the exhaust tip a once over with wire wool and some polish!

Dont think they bother if its a Cat C/D etc, its just worst case scenario if the car goes missing or damaged you will get peanuts for it if they pay out again!!!
