Default 2004 WRX PPP wagon

SORRY KIDS, SOLD

This is a 2004 PPP WRX wagon. Full leather, heated seats, auto climate control, sunroof, power everything, all of it works. I've owned it 3 years and have LOVED it, but in the last 6 months it has fallen out of use as I have a growing family, and we end up in the camper van everywhere we go. So rather than it sitting around, here it is.

It is now at 111k miles. I bought it at 97k with a slipping clutch. Replaced the clutch with an Exedy kit, and fitted a lightened flywheel while I was in there. Also fitted new suspension, it now has STI sport springs, and Gold KYB struts. And did the cam belt at that point as a matter of course.

Around this time last year the head gasket let go, so I pulled the engine, skimmed both heads, and fitted new gaskets. While I had it apart I also rebuilt the turbocharger, and deleted the TGV flaps. The big plastic intake pipe that runs under the O/S intake manifold was found to have a split in it, so this was replaced for a silicone replacement.

Only the up-pipe cat is still there, both the downpipes and main cat's have been deleted with free flow 3 inch pipe. It passes an MOT this way, and I have actually been running it with no cats and just swapping it back in once a year. (a 2nd, gutted up pipe is included with the sale if wanted) but the pre-cat is now installed so it is fully road legal as it sits.

It also has white-line strut bars front and rear, anti lift blocks up front, and sway bar end links up front (all done by P/O). There is a boost gauge on the pillar. New rear pads and discs just 6 months ago. tracking done at the same time.

it is now at 111k miles, so only 4k miles since the head gaskets and new turbo were done. Goes like the clappers, and returns decent MPG. Everything works as it should. I will be very sad to see it go, but it is just sitting around unused, and we need the money for a move. as such £3000 takes it away.

its also got a massive speaker box in the boot with 2 10 inch DVC subs in it. This is advertised here on this forum, but surprisingly has had no real interest, so will go with the car. And it has a set of genuine Subaru roof bars, with keys, and the little bag, and the manual.

FWIW All work has been done by me, I am 40 years old, and have been a pro mechanic for the last 20 years.

So, in short
111k miles
new turbo and head gaskets
new rear brakes
newish shocks and springs
MOT till middle of May
£3000

feel free to ask any questions.
