Default JDM STI Widetrack Fresh Import

For sale I have an unregistered JDM Sti sidetrack blob eye. £9,000 is the asking price, however I'm sure some of you will disagree with what I'm asking for this. I don't particularly want to sell the car as I bought it in for myself, however some family circumstances have meant that I may not be able to complete this car for a while.

Spec:
So what I know of the spec is: 75K Miles (once converted) with Japanese service history. Recent cam belt and oil changes
Ikeya Formula Adjustable Rear Lower Arm Kit.
http://www.rhdjapan.com/ikeya-formul...plied-f-g.html
Voltex Rear Spoiler
Charge Speed front bumper with carbon fibre centre piece
Charge Speed Splitter with carbon fibre centre piece
Fibre Glass wide front wings
Blitz Alloy racing Radiator
Blitz Rad Cap & Header Cap
Brand new VF37 Twin scroll Turbo, (Unsure if its been hybrid as of yet)
Full Samco and Greddy silicone hoses
Greddy DV
Alloy fuel filter housing
INGS-Net N-Spec F type rear bumper and side skirts
Varis full carbon bonnet.
5x defi Gauges (all electronic feed) with control unit
HKS Turbo Timer
2 Piece Front brake discs (nearly new)
Uprated steering pump
Trust titanium track legal full exhaust system.
CUSCO race spec coilers all round
HKS Hard pipe induction kit
Custom Solid boost pipe (alloy)
Immaculate STI Interior no wear on wheel or gear **** etc, never smoked in.
Front bumper removed at port as car was too low to go onto the trailer to transport without damaging it.
All other usual JDM sidetrack refinements are still present, titanium strut brace, big port heads, 8k red line etc etc
Thats all I can think of and found for now

Negative, has taken a light hit on the back end however only external damage.
Slight damage to fibre glass (Ings rear) bumper and dent above rear light which will need painting. No internal damage from the hit and all floor pans etc are straight. Small split in driver wing.

For some reason not allowing me to upload pictures at present

I think you would be better off taking a few better pictures of every corner of the car, engine and inside the rear boot.

That's all in the advert mate, although it's an assumption it'll remain unregistered as there is no mention of him registering it.

Car looks great

Thanks guys. I have plenty more pics. happy to register and Mot it for the right price, however if somebody does want a very unique JDM with NO rust except for a small piece of surface rust on the damaged corner they can become the first UK owners rather then me registering it and adding owners. I'm more then happy to keep this car instead of sell it if silly offers are made it will just take me a lot longer to get it on the road then i had hoped. i know this car is worth far more then what I'm asking in parts, however I have ZERO interest in breaking another perfectly good car. So far I have only given the outside of the car a brief shampoo wash, the rest will be cleaned, apologies on photo sizes, however unsure how to shrink them so thank you to whoever adjusted the last ones

Boot in the corner that has external damage, as you can see perfectly straight

UNMARKED Carbon bonnet

Front slam panel as bumper is removed, no bends

Every panel is dent free except the damaged passenger corner, just the odd scratch here and there

Zero rust on the car underneath as expected from a fresh import from the right area in japan (not the snowy parts)

Split in fibre glass wing drivers side, sadly caused by shipping company

INGs side skirt

Almost Immaculate Brembo's all round

2 Piece floating discs almost new

Really clean interior, no signs of any wear and tear

No rust under the rear window where seals leak and UK models can suffer

Original intercooler in amazing condition

Charge Speed front bumper

Charge Speed Splitter taken apart to load car onto trailer

Original factory japanese car mats throughout the car, need a hoover which i will do as only shampoo washed the outside so far to allow covering of car and salt removal

Carbon fibre centre of front bumper

Carbon fibre centre of front splitter

Front splitter carbon centre piece

Any pictures of the damage to the area around the NSR light, near the boot shut line and below the light near the bumper or with the rear bumper off?

What auction Grade was it?

Thanks.

It's worth about 6K in that condition I'm sorry to say.

I have to agree, if the car was in standard form, i'd say get rear quarter fixed professionally then be worth 9+

But in condition its in, its a project, especially with all those halfords extras will only limit your audience

Thank you both for your opinion. Not asked for however. Worth more then 6k in parts. Not fussed if it doesn't sell, and as for Halfords parts they are genuine aero dynamic parts. Not there for just show.

With all due respect the pictures are not very good at all, the fact it hasn't got a front bumper fitted etc makes it looks nothing fit the bumper tidy it up and take some proper pictures.

Dude, get the front bumper on and get the rear fixed properly and then you shouldnt struggle to sell it.
I think you will have a hard time selling for that price in its current state, regardless of how much its worth in bits.
However, good luck with the sale

Thanks guys. I think I'll probably keep. Just testing the water really as said family situation has meant delay to getting it sorted. Never imported it to sell though

if you were interested in selling the rear lateral arm and trailing arm set up I could be interested in a swap/cash for a set of widetrack arms and or a set of whiteline arms

Sorry not splitting the car. Bought her over as she's unique. Found even more goodies on further inspection. As no interest in her going as a complete car I'll keep for now and get it on the road when funds allow

Best idea, looks clean from the pictures, got a great shine to it. get a standard STi front bumper on there with a STi v-limited splitter on and it would make all the difference.

My2005 JDM widetrack was mint. I struggled to get 9K for it and it was in way better condition than that. I don't mean to be rude but you're dreaming if you think you can get anywhere near that in its current state.

Again thank you for your comment, I'm sorry you struggled to sell your JDM, however I sold a heavily damaged blob (accident damage write off) for more then £7K to a breaker who made good money on it. As said I will be keeping the car now

To be fair, unless you sold that car this year then this is irrelevant. Prices have firmed up considerably in the last six months - what people paid in 2013 or even 2014 has little bearing on today's market.
