2007 Black Hawkeye WRX for sale -low mileage 50k - gauging interest
Hi guys,
Looking to possibly sell my black 2007 hawkeye wrx. Unsure if i will sell standard or with mods:
Full service history - some mains dealer , some well known Subaru specialists
50000 miles on clock
Millers 10w 50 cfs oil (changed last month)
V7 sti blue front and rear seats(best ones)
Blue hawkeye sti door cards
Ninja 2 back box with afterburner straight through cat back center section
Bc coil-overs all round with 20mm drop.
17 inch 5x100 rota grids in bronze (nearly new) with Goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 2 ( 5mm tread all round)
Sti rear lights.
hella supertones
Very well looked after car that's garaged and only comes out at weekends. always run on shell v power.
only really selling as im wanting an STI
Unsure of what its worth but looking for 7k+ as it is or can be put back to stock for around £6k.
any interest or advice welcomed. hopefully pics will work

They work if you click the links. Nice looking hawk, but unfortunately in todays climate I suspect that may be a little over priced for a WRX.
I own a highly modified Hawk WRX every day car and I'd love to see mine go for that kinda money, but I think we will struggle.

I was thinking of putting it back to stock and selling for around 6k ish. only selling as im reluctant to mess around with the standard 2.5 engine and would rather start with an STI.

The WRX 2.5 seems less prone to blowing than the STI 2.5 engine. Although they are effectively the same engine there have been more STI failures documented so far.
My 2.5 hawk is on 68k miles now, have owned it since new and has been running 334bhp 381lb/ft for the last 4 years now. The 5 speed box is still perfect and the car hasn't missed beat.
I'm more than happy to stick with the WRX.

I'm running a VF48 turbo from a hatch sti, sti TMIC, full exhaust with sports cat downpipe, uprated panel filter, updated fuel pump, 3 port boost solenoid and map by Duncan at Racedynamix.
After you do that you will need to upgrade the brakes too.
To be honest, the sti is a better starting block if you're looking for more power. But if you're interested in sticking with the 2.5 engine then you'd better save for a forged engine rebuild. Approx £2.5k upwards. The 2.0 sti is much stronger in standard form.
Good luck with whatever direction you choose. Some on here slate the 2.5 badly, but I've loved mine since I bought it and wouldn't change it! Been a great every day car and bags of fun in its current form. has beaten many better spec'd cars!
