Default ***JDM Impreza STI Prodrive***

Having only covered 1,200 miles since I purchased this rare Bugeye, I have decided to put my stunning Impreza up for sale. Definitely a head over heart decision this one……….

• JDM Subaru Impreza STI Prodrive – only 1 of a 1,000 made in Japan
• 2002 “02”
• 73,531 on the clock as at 12/09/14. Imported in 2005 equating to approx. 64,000 miles covered
• 4 previous owners as confirmed on the V5C
• MOT to April 2015 (with all old MOT certificates present)
• Tax to January 2015 (currently £250 per year)
• 2 x Keys
• Remote Locking with TOAD security system

Below are the main benefits of owning a JDM rather than the less superior UK counterpart. I’m sure there’s also more……..

• EJ207 Semi Closed Block with Forged Pistons enabling an 8,000rpm limit
• Shorter gearbox ratios in 5th and 6th
• HiD Headlights
• Electric Folding Mirrors
• Rear Windscreen Washer/Wiper
• Tinted Rear Windows
• Grey carpet
• Warning beep when reversing
• Rally Roof Flap

Although the Japanese Service book is fully complete, including 3 stamps from Japan, I only have invoices from the start of my ownership. However the history of the car can be traced via ScottishScoobies.net. One of the previous owners was the MD of Whiteline UK in Dunfermline. I travelled from Essex to Glasgow to purchase this car, and on my return had the Cambelt changed by Extreme Scoobies, and the full 60k major service carried out by FB Tuning for my piece of mind. My car has also had a recent Front O2 Lambda sensor and MAF so literally no big bills within the next few years that I am currently aware of.

The Bodywork is in superb condition – no door dings, scrapes, or stone chips. The car polishes up beautifully and the alloys have just benefited from a recent refurbishment so they are spot on. Also my car is fully undersealed with no rust that I can see along the sills or arches. Really hard to tell this is a 12 year old car and I challenge anybody not to be impressed

The Interior is also in excellent order, no rips, dodgy smells, carpet wear or holes in the dashboard. It is quite clear that the car has been owned and well looked after by genuine enthusiasts before me.

Service History
• Japanese service at 643km, 4,810km and 8,225km
• 04/11/2005, 23,517 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 26/06/2006, 31,774 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 01/07/2007, 39,313 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 10/08/2008, 46,216 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 03/02/2009, 50,794 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 09/08/2009, 54,911 miles, Hypertech Scotland (Cambelt)
• 11/11/2010, 58,113 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 02/03/2011, 59,369 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 09/09/2011, 62,566 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 02/02/2012, 63,616 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 18/10/2012, 67,006 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 25/04/2013, 69,531 miles, Hypertech Scotland
• 08/05/2014, 72,772 miles, Extreme Scoobies (Cambelt)
• 29/05/2014, 72,939 miles, FB Tuning (Oil, Diff, Gearbox, Plugs, Fuel Filter, Brake Fluid, Coolant)

Modifications
• 18 x 7.5 white Rota GRA’s (unmarked), 225/40/18 Michelin Pilot Sports (6mm all round)
• Lightweight Aluminium Racing wheel nuts
• Andy Forrest TD05 20G Turbo
• 740cc injectors
• Hyperflow Front Mount Intercooler
• Green Cold Air Induction
• GFB Lightened Pulley Kit
• NGK PFR7B spark plugs
• GT Spec Headers (DEI wrapped)
• 3” Turbo back decat exhaust
• EBC Red brake pads front and rear with Grooved disks
• STI Titanium Front Strut brace
• Whiteline ARB’s front and Rear
• Whiteline Droplinks front and rear
• Whiteline underbody brace
• Pedders Suspension, uprated Topmounts and lowering springs
• Fully Polybushed all round
• Defi Oil Pressure, Oil Temp and Turbo Pressure Gauges
• Miller CFS Nanotech 10W50 Fully Synthetic oil and DoT 5.1 brake fluid
• Sony Stereo/CD player
• Blitz Turbo Timer
• Mudflaps
• Car is running dual ECUTEK maps by Andy Forrest, 0.5 bar low boost and 1.3 bar high boost, which equates to approx. 360bhp. A further tweak of the map to 1.5 bar would see around 420bhp with comfort.

Bad Points
• Being a 12 year old car it is of course not in concours condition. The boot carpet has seen better days, the front seatbelts are a bit squeaky when you pull them, and the speakers are among the worst I’ve ever experienced. Just making you aware in case ICE is your thing! Still I guess you don’t but this type of car for the music; the exhaust and turbo spool noise is music to the ears anyway 

This is my pride and joy and I have looked after it accordingly. It’s generally driven with mechanical sympathy and always warmed up and cooled down properly. I am a mature owner (39), who doesn’t smoke or have young children who drop biscuits or spill juice all over the place. I regularly wash and wax it with good quality products and it would make a great car for a fellow enthusiast like myself who I know would get as much pleasure from owning it as I have.

I would welcome any professional inspection (i.e. not your mate Dave who knows all about them because he fitted a dump valve to a RS Turbo back in 1992) and if you would like a test drive you’ll have to produce proof of fully comp insurance for the day www.dayinsure.com and produce evidence that you have the funds in place to carry out the purchase if you so wish. Joyriders need not apply!

I’m not looking for any type of part exchanges. Tyre kickers, test pilots and agencies will be met with hilarity, then a polite but firm goodbye. I do not need to sell as its strictly used as a second car, and if I don’t get any interest I will happily continue to enjoy it as it puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it!

So to conclude, it’s a mechanically sound, low mileage for the year car which goes well, stops well and goes round corners extremely well!, so if you’re thinking of viewing and then making a derisory offer, please do not waste your time or mine. I am based near the West Essex/Hertfordshire border 20 minutes from Stansted Airport

£6,995

PM me in the first instance if you wish to discuss further

Thanks

Dan
