Default 2010 Impreza STI 2.5 Hatchback -Forged-

Due to a change in personal circumstances I now have to sell and move on and look into the evil eye of a diesel!
For sale is my Immaculate FORGED STI hatchback with Prodrive Performance Pack (PPP) fitted, certificate included with low miles!
Owned by enthusiasts and looked after.

MOT- Feb 2015
Tax- Feb 2015 ( just had a fresh 6 months put on)
Mileage- 34,889 ( will rise slightly)
Logbook present
2 proper central locking keys
FSH

Full engine rebuild at 32,005 including COSWORTH Forged pistons with new gaskets, bearings and cam belt kit with rollers and adjusters (Receipts to prove rebuild and all other work that was done by CAS Engineering at the time) then ran in properly using correct oil at correct intervals (with receipts to prove).
Cosworth pistons were STD +0.005 overbore. Compression std @ 8.2:1.

This was due to a drop in compression on cyclinder 2. (Ringland problem) and all work was done under a warranty claim with the garage I purchased it off with upgrades at my cost, paperwork all present to show what was done.

Rebuilt at 32005
First oil and filter change at 32500
Second oil and filter at 33597
The car is always run on shell v power and warmed up properly and even after it doesn't lead a hard life.

To make the car my own I've added-

HT Auto bottom line kit, Team heko wind deflectors, Tein lowering springs, Mishimoto air filter (original air box included) R205 black wing inserts (originals included) Alpine Bluetooth headunit with steering wheel controls and phone kit (original headunit included) 4 wheel alignment after lowering with printout, Tinted windows (legal) with 50% front and 35% rear, STI black mudflaps with red logos.

Overall the car is in great condition! It hasn't used oil since the rebuild and is checked weekly when washed. The car was recently detailed before a trip down to japfest2 where it got the full works finished with a coat of Swissvax 'best of show' to keep the car red!
The brakes and tyres have plenty of life left in them and the clutch is fine.
The wheels have no kerb marks and are recently refurbed.

Really sad to sell this on already but needs must, genuine reasons.

Price- 16,995 Ono

Car is located in North Yorkshire. Genuine interest only. No timewasters or test pilots without insurance proof or deposit.

I think that's all, any questions feel free to get in touch

Ah cheers for the kind words!

An after thought.... If the cars bought and signed over before Oct 1st 2014 then the new tax rules won't apply.

My email is sammiwaite18 at hotmail dot com if anyone wants to contact me via there

Cheers dude! Bits of interest but no views.
I'm really picky so scared I'm under selling it. It needs to be seen to be appreciated

Its the only car i've seen recently that could tempt me over from twinscroll ownership All it needs is the 330 Recaros and would be perfect (and maybe a twinscroll blower!)

Not sure on the exact name of the wheels.
I thought they were std to the PPP pack?
Just been out and taken a pic of the drivers front, if you look near the caliper you can see PRODRIVE in the casting of the wheel.

Cheers trinity! Put your twinscroll on this and jobs a good un

They are standard Prodrive wheels with the PPP pack, no idea what he was on about

Maybe the price is a little high as 330's are coming in cheaper. For us lot, the forged build is worth its weight in gold, but the average punter may not be aware of the chocolate engine?

I get what your saying trinity if someone knows what there looking at then I would say its worth it but get what your saying about the average joe.

The build would defo cost more than the next std car near it's price range!

The price is Ono and I'm open to negotiation with a genuine buyer, I'm open to offers, I can only say no

Completely..unfortunately the hatch was never the most desireable in the Subaru community, but you've definitely got one of the best (or created one of the best) but you are probably relying more on the average joe unfortunately.

If you fancy a PX maybe we could chat?

Unfortunately it's a diesel next and mostly towards the Audi A3 range but thanks for the offer.

Get what your saying completely they are abit marmite, hopefully a lover will come along and snap her up.

The car is only listed on here and pistonheads at the mo, maybe I need to widen my search? Ideally I'd like it to go to an enthusiast but it does need to sell...

The Prodrive Performance Pack didn't include wheels in my day. The Prodrive wheels would have cost someone another £1k hence I was trying to point out he is underselling as they were an extra. Can't help some people.......

Ah there's no love lost.

When I was sold it I was told that the car has the cosmetic and performance PPP packs.

In cosmetic I'm sure it's only the wheels that are added? Could be wrong tho.

Shows how good a car this is, if your willing to swap your twin scroll for it.
I said I would not own another Subaru unless it was a twin scroll hatch, or something JDM and very special, but this is really tempting, forged engine, rare colour, nice subtle mods, and looks mint condition with decent mileage for age of car.

Yeah the rest of the engine is std.
The only changes are the pistons internally then the mishimoto cai air filter (std air box available aswell)

Obviously the PPP gives you a 2nd cat delete, prodrive rear silencer and ecu tweak but that's all PPP not me.
