Default 1995 WRX JDM

Hi folks. Offered for sale is a WRX 1995 JDM model. I bought this last week off a gentleman on here as a non runner. See this thread.

https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-444...dm-offers.html

Since purchase I've had the car looked at as I was under the impression it needed a new bottom end. My mechanic (Richard Henry Motorsport) noted whilst there was a slight movement on the thrust bearing it was very minor. I asked him to put the engine back together. A change of oil and some fresh coolant in, she was cranked to build up oil pressure and then promptly burst in to life. The engine is sweet bar a slight rattle at higher revs.
The car drives beautifully and you would be had pressed to find a better driving WRX of this vintage. There's no creaks, rattles or bangs. It feels nice and planted and the engine sings beautifully. The bodywork is amazing for a twenty year old car. The underside is very clean with minor corrosion.
My original plan was to break the car. However the bodywork is so clean and the car drives so well it would be a shame. It will come with a full mot and I can tax at cost. Some of the upgrades include.

Tein EDFC coilover in car adjustable suspension.
Four pot front calipers with uprated grooved/drilled disks
17" Speedline alloys in white with nearly new Toyo Proxes.
Alloy wishbones
Uprated up pipe
Full 3" custom stainless steel exhaust (sounds great)
Uprated brand new radiator
Braided brake hoses front and rear
Quick shift
Newage WRX seats

The above are what I can recall off the top of my head. The car drives better than my newage! It is for sale for £1300 (tax at cost as mentioned). It would make a great base for a project or just enjoyed as it is. I may go down the route of breaking if there is no interest as a full car. If you are interested in any bits ask away. Thanks for looking.

I was in two minds Rob as to which one to sell. Having come back to a classic after many years I was surprised at how much more compact and nimble it was over the newage.

The white one as it was big inspiration for me at the time but the blue one does look beastly for a newage. Man you have had some stunners over the years lol

Ah! So that was your Hawkeye Drew! It passed me a couple of times up Wakey Road. The photos don't really show how visually stunning it is. It had an awesome stance and looked 'well phat'.

That was sold by ABW to someone in Holland IIRC? Didn't the new owner total it?

When ABW had it up for sale, I considered it for a while - as it really floated my boat!

I bought if from Darren at ABW and spent a fortune on it, I stupidly sold to a Belgium Subaru Dealer who said it was going to sit in his showroom alongside his 22b.
