Hello Guys.

This is probably a very simple one for most of you, but being new to Impreza ownership I am in need of a little help.

I picked my Subaru up yesterday and spotted a lovely spoiler on another Scooby on the way home which has got me wanting one. Despite searching "Impreza Spoiler" through eBay the quantity of results I get is phenomenal and I think I need to slim down my search results before I find what I am after.

Now what I am looking for is some more details on the spoiler linked below. I am very new to impreza ownership and have no clue what I am looking at here.

Is this spoiler an OEM item?

If so what models was this spoiler fitted to?

If it is an aftermarket item who originally made them?

Can they still be bought new?

Are there many for sale pre owned?

I have read that some are Genuine (ABS) and there are some FibreGlass replicas. How do the F/G ones fit compared to the ABS ones? My previous experience with Jap based F/G replica parts has been across the board, some fit very well, others are awful.

Anyway here is the spoiler in question.



Would someone please be able to advise me on a price for a genuine and replica item. I have spotted a replica item just down the road from me, some damage to the F/G (having access to bodyshop facilities does have its up sides at times) with bootlid for £60. Would this seem a fair price? I would hate to pay Genuine item money for a replica part.

Any help, or guidance would be hugely appreciated.

That would appear to be a genuine P1 rear spoiler.

Like Don said, that's a P1 spoiler, fitted to a P1 funnily enough.

Probably about £150-200 for a genuine one second hand, they don't come up very often.
