Default Hawkeye rails

Hi all - I know there's been a bit of discussion on this recently - but can't find a specific answer to my query. I want to ADD roof rails to my Hawkeye Wagon. Have found a Bugeye set on ebay. Will these fit..? Also presume I can cut my roof trims rather than needing to buy a new set, which I am guessing I only need to do when doing the roof rail delete. Many thanks guys

Yes, you can cut the roof trims to fit - I did mine with a hacksaw, leaves a messy cut but as it's tucked under the roof rail "foot" at each end it doesn't matter. Just be a bit generous with your measuring, you can always cut a bit more off if necessary.
