Default Splitter for a classic..

Hi,
Does anyone know if this splitter fits a classic?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Imp...item1c1e590d52
Or, does anyone have any other recommendations for a front splitter?
Thanks,
James

The picture shows it fitted to a facelift phase 1.5 classic, (97/98 car), so yes it will fit a classic.

There is also a mobile number on that advert, give the guy a ring tomorrow morning after 10am.

I have the P1 one from here: http://www.htautos.co.uk/first_6.html bought that one, paid a bit more because it's BLACK injected PU rather than fibregalss so more resistant to chips and when it DOES chipit shows black like the bumper.

If you have that bumper as pictured (which is a pre-facelift one btw) then yes it will. If you have the facelift bumper then no it won't!

The bumper shown is first facelift..........97/98 cars.

Were the earlier cars the same?

Not including the 22b there are only two classic bumpers. Pre-facelift and facelift. So yes the earlier cars were the same.
Pre-faclift bumpers were fitted (including the phase 1.5 facelifts in 97,98) until the full facelift in late '98 when they also changed the grille and added crystal lights amongst other things.

I see, so all models up to 98 have the 'pre facelift' bumper? That explains why i couldnt see much difference with some of the facelift model bumpers & mine then
Cheers,
James

Didn't know that BLU, but then, I've only been concerned with my own, (98 car) and facelifts from that

Yeah all cars up to mid '98 had pre-facelift bumpers. Which bumper have you got?
Easiest way to spot them is pre-facelifts have two vents under the indicator and facelifts only have one!

The one you showed a pic of will fit perfectly, then.

HT Autos also do a P1 splitter for that bumper, in injection-moulded PU, if it appeals?
