Window guides split?? Repair???

Window guides split?? Repair???
Don't know the exact name for this bit but on my my97 wagon's
front window(driver side) the bit where the window meets
the wing mirror top guide has split so when I put my window
up it goes too far up.
Wondering if anybody has had this and how you repaired it?
Here's a pic to illustrate the problem.
I am wondering if super glueing a piece of something
like inner tube over the top would do the job??
