Facelift smoked crystal headlights

Can this be done by baking them to split the light and spray the chrome case with smoked paint?
Or can you buy these units already smoked ?

Can be bought smoked but they won't be genuine Subaru items.
I split mine with mrs blu-scoobs hairdryer
no oven required! I used just normal Hy-cote satin black paint on the chrome surround!

Not touching the lense or refector still gives you the smoked look but they still work the same as original

must admit the headlights were easy but the indicators what a pan in the **** HAHA
