Default mudflap...

well yesterday, after a session of rock climbing, I managed to rip one of my mudflaps off Basically, a large lump in the road, pushed the mudflap under the front wheel which in turn dislodged the whole thing. I then ripped it off as it was very lose. Flexible rubber ones....btw.

Anyone else had this issue? Will the stiffer carbon ones avoid this issue?

I do like them being in place, they keep alot of dirt off the doors........

Common problem, usually caused by them being a tad too low to the ground. Same would happen with carbon ones only they would break.

figured something along those lines, thanks... so with lowered suspension, I will need to "trim" the front flaps.

Happens a lot to people on here while reversing up curbs.
If it get trapped between the wheel and the floor/rock/curb then something's got to give.

definitely... have honestly been expecting it to happen. Will need to either cut mine, or buy shorter ones.
