why they didnt have the holes etc the originals have i dont know ?!?!?

suppose it depends if you will want to remove them later or not,if not, as above,if you do want to remove them,DIY clear silicone

I used double sided strong number plate tape (green rolls from halfords of all places) to hold mine on rather than use the screws which just dont look right in my eyes.
