Default Anyway to get blobeye rear lights to fit a bug without bumper change?

hi guys

as above

heard they is a way, something to do with removing the foam?

can anyone clarify?

the rear bugeye lights look kinda dated when i look at them parked next to the blobeye lol

so in 2 mins, changing to blob rear lights, but due to lips and diffuser on the bumper i cant change that..

or ive seen some direct replacement bugeye rear light son here that are crystal, and have two holes in the red bit..

not sure what they called, i think its generation 3.. might just swap to them as they do look standardish.

cheers

edit: these rear lights http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IMPREZA-01-03-...item1c0c39bc1b

not sure how they look on a night compared to standard lights.. could anyone post a pic with the brake light on and off .. if you have them?

Straight bolt on fit, just remove the foam as you aid, I have them on my bugeye without any problems and only other things ou need are..... the blub holders, the blobs& hawks have smaller fittings to the bugeye. HTHs

just the holders, no pics of the foam as its only the small part at the curve of the light housing you remove.

wiley did the aftermarket lights above look smilar to the blobeyes? or did they look out of place?

i can get them for £70 which seems cheap..cant find any blobeye rears

is their no way u can seal them properly to avoid condensation? cover it in some vaseline too to ensure a tight seal?

never taken a rear light off so dont kno what it entails
