Default fitting a sti spoiler to my wrx

i was just woundering are they sealed all the way round the bootlid or do they have a little channel so the water does'nt sit on top of the boot lid. also would silicon be alright to use to stop the water getting underneath the spoiler

I only sealed mine around the actual holes allowing any water to run off, Is your a gen or replica?

i was told it was a geniun one the painter said because there stronger thn the rep. its a abs made spoiler. im sure what is the difference anyway

10 i think without looking. same as a proper sti when i looked at one

I'd just seal around the holes, but don't use silicone use silkaflex or similar.

i dont think there is many/if at all any copys with more than the 4 bolts, so id say yours would be a genuine

As above, seal only around the holes using Sika-flex or Tiger seal, NOT silicone.

Don't forget the hole where the brakelight wiring comes through
