Alloy boot lid? Did subaru ever make these?
Just started my project on my classic impreza my'94, and am collecting parts, i know you can get alloy bonnets but im wondering if any other alloy parts were ever fitted to classic impreza's as i have seen a guy selling an alloy tailgate on ebay, is he nuts or is it possible that it is genuine?

Yeah, its a misconception that the RA's have ally panels. The only ally one is the bonnet, same as most jap impreza's

Already have! Wings, doors, boot etc all steel, very light steel mind!
The RA's weight loss is down to no abs, airbags, electric windows, central locking ect.

Carbon bonnets are often heavier than the ally ones, which are very light.
