Help fitting a Splitter

I have a splitter to go on a standard bumper, could anyone advise how to secure this on, perhaps so the edges can be smoothed? its on a classic. When i got the bumber the splitter was screwed on on the ends but that was it, this meant it could move!

Any info appreciated
