Hi,
What options are available to get rid of the lexus rear lights the 07 hawkeye has?
Is there a film 'ala Sti Litchfield' that I can put of top of the bottom part of the lens to make it look better?
Otherwise would 04-05 lights fit?
The car is a 2007 WRX wagon.

The rear lights are the only part of the hawk-eye I dont like.
Way too chav;

Replace them with 2003-2006 ones.
Straight swap over.

go for 04/05 blob eye model lights they look far better than hawkeye tails straight swap over and work just the same no rewiring required.

 

my mate had swapped his hawkeye lights for the blobs ones, looks so much better. the tinted hawkeye lights are ok

I am confused: some of the blobeye lights have the top half part clear and bottom red but the ones I'm after have the top half part red and bottom clear (I have seen them on Flat Eric's wagon and they look sweet but can't find a pic now )

you will have to go for 04/05 blob eye model tail lights for them to fit bugeye tail lights wont fit a hawkeye as there is a bubble shape at bottom of the tail lights and on bugeye they dont have that they are a straight line at bottom of tail lights and bumper on bug eye isnt grooved for the blob eye tail lights.

but if your going for the tails of the shape before the hawkeye go for 04/05 blobeye shape tails they will be straight fit bugeye tails WILL NOT fit.
