Hi Guys,

Dos anybody know if the L'aunsport WRC bumper fits onto the standard 2002 WRX. I don't want to change the front wings or pay the premium for the genuine Prodrive bumper (plus I like the bumper mounted lights). Also is there a UK supplier?

 

Fits standard front wings, no UK supplier...

 

You may have more luck finding a Prodrive Edition STI front bumper that is fitted to 2002 STI, maybe !

Take care with the Mad Motors ones from FX tuning - Mad Motors assured me it would fit fine but FX tuning themselves say it requires modding to fit. There was a thread from a guy (FX - Tuning are Polish) who got his bumper form Poland and it needed a whole lot of modding as it is a direct WRC replica so too short on the sides and too wide at the front!.

 

Darren at A-B-W has the WRC one available for the 2002 scoob, he has created himself so it will be guaranteed a great fit.

 

The ABW front bumper for the 2002 only fits wide bodied cars AFAIK..

I have one here, and does not fit std width cars, as I'm sure Darren from ABW will testify...

 

Anybody know what the DR Motorsport one is like? Come ready sprayed which I don't really want as the whole front end needs a respray and I'd like it all done at once and blended down the sides so the paint match is solid.
