Does anyone have the dimensions or drawings or even a photo of the mounting brackets for Bugeye foglight covers.
I've got my hands on some genuine covers (via Ebay) but they're secondhand from a breakers and didn't include the brackets.

I just need to know what they look like first so I can knock some up at work, i'm guessing it's some sort of angle bracket?

 

have you tried fitting them without the mounting bracket? mine have 3 mount sticking out that clip into the front bumper, and the cover fits in tightly. haven't got any brackets - not screwed in at all and they're never gonna fall off

 

If what is suggested above doesn't work make a bracket with picks up on one of the fog light securing bolts - which ever will line up with a hole or suitable position on the cover, its what came with one of the foglamp cover sets I have for my bug.

Thanks , i'll give that a go after i've sprayed them. Did a trial fit and they didn't look that secure but we'll see
