Hi all, I have just fitted a carbon fiber bonnet to my STi7. The scoop that came with the bonnet looks the same size as a standard WRX scoop. Will this affect the performance of my car? I have found STi8 style carbon scoop online but would cost nearly 200 quid and I'd rather not. Also I like the look of the smaller scoop so would be happy to keep it so long as performance isn't affected.

orite fella.dont know about the performance side but they look f####in awsome.i would of thought they would help keep under bonnet temps down though.im getting an sti8 fitted this wkend.cant wate.

 

read somewhere but dont quote me on it, that with the small scoops you cant run at high speed for long on say motorways, as the air is not hitting the small scoop,
