back bumper out of line help!!

Default back bumper out of line help!!

my rear bumper seems to be lower on the right side and doesnt run flush underneath my bootlid etc.how can i sort this as its looks horrible!! ta peeps

Sounds as if it's had a bump?

Anyway, if you look underneath, you'll see a clip in the centre at the rear, it's one of those you pick the centre out, then the whole thing comes out, IIRC, there's one, but there could be two.

Next look along the "chassis" legs. There are three bolts on each. Remove all 6.

The bumper will now SLIDE backwards, it has it's own "legs" that fit inside the chassis legs.

As it comes backwards, you need to disconnect the wiring to the number plate lamp.

Take care as it comes right out, drop it now and you're into respray territory

Once it's out, check that it's "legs" aren't bent. I bent mine hitting a concrete block. I was able to straighten the bent one and refit it so that it lay level, at least until I could get it resprayed too
