Default MY06 roof vane spoiler

Has anyone fitted one of the replica vane spoilers that 'require no drilling' and is the bonding gel they supply strong enough to hold it on at speeds over 70mph?

Without meaning to be dippy here, what is a vane spoiler? Is that the small roof spoiler above the rear window or something else completely? I really like these so thought I'd poke my nose, if its the same thing where could I get one from, I saw a pic on here with a classic with the 06 roof spoiler, looked pretty nice I thought!

Yes it is the 06 roof spoiler.I have one in carbon fibre with colour coded end caps so will look spot on once its fitted.Ive decided to drill the holes and bolt and bond it on so there is no danger of it falling off when im on track

hiya scooby-tc

Thats great news, I really like them but wasnt too sure if I was on the same wave length as you guys.. Where did you source yours from are they readily available ? I know what you mean about the bonding and drilling, I think I'd have to do the same too, wouldn't want to lose it on the M4 or similar.
Just have to add to that, I love your new scooby, it's georgous..

see you soon
